yes ma’am this is the double suite! it just means that it’s a double occupancy room, so you and your roommate, and you have your own private bathroom in the room.

Hi I’m a current senior interested in San jac for my freshman year. Do you know how fast San jac fills up? I turned in my housing application few days ago (December 11th) and housing applications opened back in August. Do you think I will get an early room selection date?? Thank you!

Hi! Congrats on your senior year, unfortunately, I don’t have an exact answer to your question. San Jac is typically one of the quicker residence halls to fill up because it has a limited number of rooms, as a lot of the athletes on campus stay there, as well as all rooms are double occupancy and private bath. I filled out my housing application in early November, so I can’t tell you how people who filled their applications out in December panned out. The best thing to do is play the waiting game, because you won’t know until you are assigned your room selection time in late May/early June. Try and take advantage of that time, and if you don’t get the room you want know that there are still room swaps that happen leading up to fall semester. Sorry I couldn’t give you a concrete answer, but I wish you the best, and thank you for watching my video 🫶🏽
