Uni trend i have a question about Uni T 203+ What is the power consumption in off condition and what is the consumption in ON condition and what is consumption while testing something

The UT203+ has very low power consumption. * In the OFF state: The power consumption is negligible, essentially zero. * In the ON state: The power consumption is minimal, with sufficient power, the maximum working time of UT203+ is 400 hours of continuous operation in low brightness mode and 150 hours of continuous operation in high brightness mode. * During testing: The power consumption will increase slightly, but it remains very low and won't significantly impact battery life. @@UniTrendTechnology I got the 204+ since one month ago, it's amazing. I don't need another tool most of the times I analyze something. NCV, capacitance... it has everything i need. I'm planning, once this 204+ makes me earn more, to buy an UT243 three phase multimeter or an UT283A network analyzer, it depends of what i would need the most. If i have enough money, i will buy both!!

My unit 203+ isnt measuring any amps till 0.2 ampere on AC. After that it is giving results. On DC it is working fine even on low amps. Plz suggest me solution, i bought it new.

Hi My friedns, UT203+ AC/DC current range is 40.00A/400.0A and the accuracy guarantee range is 5%-10% in the manual, which means the minmun guarantee current will be 40.00A*5%=2A. If you are looking into one clamp meter for very low current, i will recommend UT211B clamp meter. UT211B the minmun guarantee current is 600.0mA*5%=30mA

@@tonyzhou8838 thanks my brother. I found uniT 203+ don't work below 0.1amp due to 40amp limitation. Additionally i thought 5-10% error belong to display value not to minimum (40amp or 600mA as you said). If display is 10amp then actual results would be in between 9.5-10.5amp (for 5%) and 9-11 (for 10% error). Correct me if im wrong

Helo dear, i have countered an issue with battery, AAA battery (1.5v) giving low battery when any of one cell goes to 1.3v even other on is 1.5 or 1.4 doesn't matter, i wana use rechargeable battery but it has 3.7v, is it safe to use 3.7v instead of 3v ? I have UniT 203+

@@UniTrendTechnology i know, 2 batteries of 1.5 gives it 3v if i use a single battery with 3.7v will it work fine ? I think 0.7v ll not make any difference, Because this model has very serious issue all the user around the globe are upset regarding ut203+ battery every few days battery go low it ll convenient to us to use a rechargable li ion battery

I have a problem with my ut 208 clamp meter when i mesure current for example 150 amp the and the conductor is not in the center of jaw it give wrong reading about 10 amps and that diffrent is very big and my user manual say That if conductor not in the center of jaw it may give 1% wrong reading that mean in my case should be 1.5 amp in 150 amp not 10 amps And the readings increas when i put conductor near end of jaw near clamp meter body and decrease if the wire in the far side of the clamp meter body I open it and try to adjust potentiometers near transformer conection and nothing happen problem still Can you hilp me

The manual does not say 1%. It only says that the jaws should be perpendicular to the current flow for better accuracy. Also did you zero the meter before your test? How do you know the reading is wrong by 10 amps? Did you test with another meter?

@@UniTrendTechnology no, i mean that if by mistake if i selected dial to continuity mode or resistance mode and put the probs on 220v AC or DC ll it damage my UT203+ ? you know it happen some time by mistakenly that your meter is on Resistance test mode and you test the voltage on mains 220v
