This is a Gameplay Video from Sonic Superstars for the Nintendo Switch. This is not a Demo! Dr. Eggman wants to turn the giant animals of the Northstar Islands intro Badniks and steal the Chaos Emeralds to conquer the world. To help him out he hires Fang the Hunter who found an nativ armored mysterious girl named Trip. Now it's up to Sonic the Hedgehog, Tails, Knuckles and Classic Amy to travel through each Zone, defeat all Bosses, find all Chaos Emeralds to turn into Super Sonic and rescue the world! As always, this will be a 100% Walkthrough of the full game story mode. Holy shit, most of the video is just this boss fight. Why did the develoers have to make it last this freakin' long?

Because sadly nobody knows how to create a decent Sonic 2D battle now. It seems to be a lost art. They also don’t know how to create a cool boss theme anymore either. The boss music in both this game and Sonic 4 are both absolutely awful. The same 4 bars of music repeat for boring 15 minute repetitive boss fights.

Sonic rush had quite long boss battles. I actually like it it’s more challenging. Although on repeat play throughs it maybe tedious 🤷🏻‍♂️

For anyone having trouble with the final stage, you have to volley the blue moles back at dr robotnik literally right as they surface. If they touch the ground then you're gonna be stuck in that final loop. One trick i also noticed is the moles are the ones to surface first so get to the area they are gonna pop up at first.
