It's great to see some guys that aren't riding the big lazy boys and actually riding the BDR routes on big KTM;s (and Norden) like they were intended. I really enjoyed this whole series of videos very much and it inspires me to do the same on my 890r in the next couple of weeks; hats off!. Hopefully I'll get lucky and there won't be any rain to turn the trail into mud and make the route impassable...

Great video bro, I just watched it with Pete tonight just before we watched the supercross Anaheim 1. I loved it and I can't wait to get to that section of the world in 2023. It looks amazing and you guys made it look fun!

Hello is a great video I was wondering everybody’s motorcycle here has stock suspension or these bikes suspension has been upgraded? Thanks
@edenstrang2 жыл бұрын
The 2 890s are stock R models, the Norden has been upgraded to R suspension (it comes with the Apex fork), and the 790 is a rally edition that comes with cone valves. They all have stock valving

Thanks. Can experiences riders do two sections a day or that’s really pushing it? 🙏🏼
@edenstrang2 жыл бұрын
Sorry I wasn't in charge of the map so I don't know how the sections are divided up. I think we did two per day on some of them (edit: looking at the map this is very wrong, we were going pretty fast and averaging less than a section a day!)
@therealturbofanisme2 жыл бұрын
The northern sections are very short. You can easily do 6, 5, and get into 4 in one day. But 2 and 3 are all day sections if not even a little more, and 4 is pretty long too. I think a group of our speed (I'm the guy in the dorky turquoise Klim suit) could complete the whole thing in 5 days but not much less. It's *long*. This same group did all of COBDR in less than 4 days.

I saw/admired whichever one of your bikes is the one with rade garage everything at the dealer service center the other day. I got bored later on and tallied up the cost of everything on it and suddenly felt much less guilty about the money I have into my 790! Thanks for sharing.

@@collinpittman5010 that belongs to Pete! Started life as a 790 Rally. Got in an accident and he decided to rebuild it with all the Rade bits. Very cool bike.

@@therealturbofanisme ooh, good deal if you can get insurance to pay for a good chunk of it. I'm happy to see that it gets good use!
