Rode my KLR seven hundred + miles from So.Utah to Butte Montana in one day. When I got home I lowered the front 1" and the rear 2 1/2 " plus put a sheepskin wool pad on the seat. Helped a lot!

We just ran across your channel due to you riding a KLR 650. My first off road bike is a 2015 KLR. Love this bike. More than I need at 59 years old. Now we watch hours and hours of ADV riding videos and have to say, this video is outstanding. You have a way of telling a story and kept us entertained throughout the entire episode. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to your next two episodes. If you find yourself in Southern Oregon, let’s ride

Been looking for some quality BDR footage of the northern part of the Utah route, and stumbled on your video. Nice work bro! Looking forward to watching a lot more of your vids. I was able to see a lot more of the terrain with your stuff. The guys that go South to North seem to be burned out on filming once they get past Green River. Anyway, keep up the good work. Maybe I'll run into you out there some time!

Thanks for sharing. We living in Logan Utah and want to do this route this summer. Do you see any issues with wanting to do this on a RZR 4 seater? It seems like all the trails shown in your videos are more than wide enough.
@brandmanstorys9216 Жыл бұрын
Yeah the route is also made for 4 wheeled vehicles so no single track. You could do it in a Jeep if you wanted to. There are a couple highway sections That might be a problem.

@@brandmanstorys9216 Thanks for the quick reply. What time of year did you do this? I am trying to get an idea of how cold/hot it will be. I imagine the higher elevations can get quite chilly, but I dont want to pack snow clothes for everyone if its not necessary.

I did it in June which was a good time a year despite the snow but I would wait a couple months this year. It's been a Quite the Winter.

Nice ride. When did you do the trip, if I may ask? I was originally planning to do Idaho BDR starting on Aug 25th, but am now thinking of doing Utah BDR instead, given the road work in Idaho. Any thoughts on the weather and road conditions in end of Aug-Sep?
