Thanks for the trip review. I definitely think that's the best method for traveling: Make a 10 to 15 minute stops for breaks, and charge deeper on meal stops. Having 400+ miles pretty much eliminates the need for trip planning. I stopped by Kanab Visitor Center when I took my Bolt EV up to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, but they didn't have any chargers at that point. I ended up charging overnight at the Tesla destination chargers at the local hotel/motel. DCFC at the Visitor Center would have been really helpful.

I totaled the charging costs you showed and it came to $895.16, is that about right?

@@ShaunSee Yes. That is correct. Pretty expensive. I think it is the same or slightly higher than gas prices right now on a road trip. Still much cheaper at home.

Why not charge overnight at a campground? Fold up the back seat, put down a mat, leave the AC on. Fill up battery for $30.
