Utah Jazz trade rumors w/ Michael Scotto of HoopsHype

On this episode I was joined by Michael Scotto of HoopsHype who came on to talk about all the different Utah Jazz trade rumors. He talked about the Jazz being linked to Miles Bridges. He also talked about potential trade candidates for the Jazz including Collin Sexton, Jordan Clarkson, and John Collins.
We also talked Lauri Markkanen and his potential contract. Scotto also talked about the kinds of teams that might be interested in Markkanen if the Jazz did actually want to trade him.

It seems Smith/ Utah is in a holding pattern. I don’t completely think he’s only interested in using the team to print money but right now he’s obviously in a holding pattern - almost like halfway through the season he strategy changed.

Jazz: Lavine & 2024 pick 11 Draft a wing Cody Williams or Holland and Devin Carter and Baylor Schierman Sign Jalen Smith to a MLE, Resign Dunn to the Bi annual Exception, Give Juzang a minimum, extend Lauri. PG: George, Carter, Dunn SG: Lavine, Sexton, Juzang SF: Lauri, Williams, Baylor PF: Collins, Hendricks, Bazley C: Kessler, Smith, Yurtseven We keep our asset chest full and have salary and picks to make future trades. Lavine and Carter could ease Georges playmaking load, which could unlock him. Jalen Smith as a backup big who stretches the floor.... These moves balance the roster.
