Utah's getting its own NHL team. This restaurant wants to be the official watch spot for fans

With news that Utah is getting its own NHL team, don't forget about the state's ECHL team. Not far from the Maverik Center, home of the Utah Grizzlies Pro Hockey Club, is the Penalty Box Bar and Grill, which is hoping to become known as the "official watch spot for all NHL games."

The guy saying "Utah Stars" clearly had a few too many to drink. He's even wearing a Dallas Stars jersey, there obviously can't be two NHL teams with the same name. That's actually one reason I don't really like the Utah Blizzard name either. It sounds cool, but its pretty close to Colorado Avalanche.

Lolol that guy was definitely faded. The same can be said with Utah Yeti, the 'Yeti' name is already owned by a company with the copyrights to that name, and also the Colorado Avalanche already use added logos that have a likeness to a Yeti, and the 'Yeti' name for a team is just awfully bad.

@@sv4996 what upsets a lot of people, and of course it can't be discussed at a press conference but go back and watch the press conference carefully talking about "obstacles", a certain group based in Southwest had its members in AZ derail efforts, from financing to quasi election interference, esp the last 3yrs and have been working with the NHL behind the scenes for that long as well. When the mafia etc does this it's called racketeering, collusion or influencing but not when it's directed from SLC. Now that the SLC elders/Jazz have stolen what it wants the Coyotes can now bribe politicians like normal sports organizations. SLC SUCKS!
