Utah to California Road Trip - 1950

Salvaged 16mm film from 1950 discovered at an Estate Sale. Included in the photographer's trip is a stay at "Parry Lodge and Cottages" in Kanab, Utah.
From there, some film shot at the gold rush town of "Columbia", since protected as a California State Park...
Moving slightly southeast, a lumber mill in Sonora
Some rare images of fish being delivered (Castagnola Fleet) to the Hovden Cannery in Monterey, California. The Monterey Bay Aquarium presently occupies the same location where this same cannery once operated.
Finally, a trip down highway 101 to Mission Santa Barbara.
