In this video I depart my camp at Sand Hill Recreation Area near St. George, Utah. I cross over into Arizona and drive through the Virgin River Gorge on Interstate 15. I find a camp in the northwest corner of Arizona overlooking the Virgin River. Then I drive into Nevada and find a place to camp in Nye County.
Thanks For Being Here.
*My name is Brian. I started living full time in a self built camper van in 2014 in my hometown of San Diego, CA. I hit the road full-time in 2015 to pursue seasonal work and travel around the U.S. I find free camping on public land and enjoy photography, hiking, biking, and kayaking in nature. Join me on my adventures.
Thanks for watching!

Yes, home is where you find it! Maybe another option is putting word out to subscribers you're looking for a temporary private camp area with perhaps access to electric for an agreed upon fee. Probably be cheaper than staying at a full service campground with loud noise and constant traffic. Peace and quiet = all good!

I've actually been looking at Nevada as a retirement home. I've been in Wyoming for 35 years, but am getting tired of the winters and a few other issues. I was looking at the ghost towns and other areas north of Vegas. Drove through Calliente many years ago. My sister and her husband have camped outside of Pahrump. They really like it.

@@bryanmathew2079 We are having an unusually warm December. I've been here 35 years and usually it starts getting cold in October, I've seen Halloween with a foot of snow and 5 degrees. We have some breaks until January and then winter comes in and beats us up with weeks of barely above zero and many roads closed due to high wind blowing snow across the highways and interstates causing terribly hazardous conditions. By April it starts to warm up, but I have seen it snow into June. Spent several Father's days shoveling snow. Thankfully it melts quicker.

This high desert terrain is what attracted me to your channel back in late 2019. My grandparents homesteaded some acreage in the high desert in Southern California about 70 years ago, and the cabin they built has been a family vacation spot for all of my life. I love the rocky mountainous views and the sage brush and the coyotes and rabbits, and especially the Joshua trees! I enjoy all your content, but especially when you return to the desert Southwest.

Hey Brian... Bryan here, thanks for giving me a shout out in this video...much appreciated! A couple days after I met up with you - I found a place to stay in Hildale, UT. Great people that are allowing me to stay with them and work as a volunteer maintenance worker for their building. Very fortunate to have stumbled upon it! I'll be allowed to reside here until my St. George housing kicks in, or I get my SSDI. Anyway, looks like your making progress in your travels, that's great! It was a pleasure to meet you, and maybe someday we'll run into each other again ✌🏽 Stay warm and safe out there brother!

Next time you do a grilled cheese sandwich, try bacon with it. So a layer of cheese, a layer of streaky bacon, a layer of tomato and top it with another layer of cheese. The top layer of cheese should melt through the tomato. That’s how I like mine. Thanks for having me along for the ride.

I didn't realise there was a 'process' to go through to change residency address in the US. It seems a bureaucratic nightmare but hopefully it's all done smoothly in time. The weather here in NE Scotland is frosty and sunny today, about 2C. We have had a very wet period just past so it's good to have this crispy dry weather now. It's enjoyable to go on my ebike on hard forest tracks rather than in several cm of mud.
