Every time I watch this video it makes me shiver. All of Suara's songs are amazing, and this one in particular might be one of the best opening sequences ever made. 最初偽りの仮面を観たとき、主人公の声優は若い方のイメージがあり違和感がありましたが、観ていくにつれそのイメージが変わっていきました。次作の二人の白皇では藤原さんの演技でハクの想いや覚悟がよく伝わり名シーンで何度も泣きました。二人の白皇アニメ化決定した矢先に今回の訃報を知りとても悲しかったです。もうハクやこれまで演じられたキャラの声を聞けないのはとても寂しいですが、うたわれるものだけでなくいろんな作品を好きになるきっかけをくれて本当にありがとうございました。そして、これまで数々のご活躍本当にお疲れ様でした！

I've never played the original 2002 game, but my intro to the series was the 2006 adaptation and loving it. Fast forward to 2015, this week, I've learned that the anime sequel started airing and it actually the adaptation of the sequel game of the same name. It was a pleasant surprise. a bit of spoiler (may be)... in the original utawarerumono, witsarnemitea is broken into 2 parts: 1. his physical body with his kind soul (possessed from the dead young scientist): Hakuoro 2. his bodyless evil soul (from being a witsarnemitea & loath of human's greed by killing his wife): Dii (bodyless Witsarnemitea soul taken over Dii's physical body) and in the end of Original Utawarerumono, Hakuoro & his other soul merged together & sealed in hakuoro's Body. but, in the relief of the 2nd Utawarerumono, after several years (maybe hundreds), Witsarnemitea is, again, broken into parts, but this time, 4 parts: half-masks (right mask & left mask), mouth mask, & one-horned half-face mask. I don't know why, but it looks like Haku, the one without mask with amnesia, is probably the other parts of Hakuoro, maybe possess Hakuoro's soul (well, being amnesia is the usual pattern in the anime). What i'm (still) confused is, the mouth-mask part is removable. Maybe this one is special, or maybe all the masks are removable. In the original Utawarerumono, the original mask is not removable (maybe this is the reason why it's titted Itsuwari no kamen?) And another one is, what is the purpose of the resurrection of the 'mask'? since in the original utawarerumono, all the mask bring are only destruction & war.

Ok, 1: The show takes place about 18 years after the first show. 2: Haku is human he was a test subject for cryo freezing. 3: The masks in the show are fakes of Hakuoro's, and Kuon is his daughter. and last season 3 is coming soon, maybe 2020 but close enough ; ) Any questions let me know, if I can answer I will. I did all of that in one breath. Sorry if you already know.
