From what I see in the show, your Hewlett-Packard printer is a laser printer. It contains toner, but not ink. Inkjet printers contain ink that we know is a liquid. Laser printers contain toner, which is a powdered substance, derived from business copiers. Toner will melt when heated. I own a Canon color laser printer and print various documents and files from time to time. I have used store brand business card sheets by Office Depot, and am opened to trying Avery as a solid brand. The program I use to create my own business cards is Microsoft Publisher. I like the idea that you make your own documents and files your own way by yourself.

The ink tank system appears to be much better than the cartridge system kzbin.infoUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 and a lot cheaper to run. The machine was easy to set up. A small point but I thought they'd be a USB cable included to help with the set up but there was none. I've been using it now for a few weeks and it seems like a good product and superior to my previous printers which were all troublesome HP machines.

I've been using Avery Business cards for almost 15 years now, never had an issue. As of late, and maybe I should stop buying them at Walmart, (I got two packages for $8.00. Bargain am I right?) It's was the Avery 28371, long story short; any photo that was on the card came out all ashy and cloudy. It can't be my printer, because I print them on Canon photo paper, and they look amazing.

Hello , so I’m printing my business cards and notice that after printing my image is more so to the top of card. I did center this before printing. Then see an option to adjust the printer by inches up or down. I changed to down 1/16” not sure if I should select the next option which is 3/32” ..after printing the first option my second page doesn’t look like it moved down … not sure how to resolve.. any suggestions?

Hi Kai, Thanks for the support. It's hard for me to suggest a specific printer because everyone has different preference and different needs. It doesn't matter if it's HP or Canon. What matters more is if it's Inkjet or Laser. Usually with Laser it will cost more and the colors are not as nice for photos, but sharper for text. For Ink Jet, photos look better, but ink costs alot and text is not as sharp as laser printers. I hope that helps! :)

Hi Eruanne, that's a VERY good point. VistaPrint is great for mass production, and if you can wait a few days to get them shipped to you. Printing your own card is helpful when you need them right away, or you want to make a few cards at a time, or want to make custom cards for each customer. Generally: VistaPrint is great, and when I have finalized my card designs I will order a bunch of cards from them :)

Hi Aaron, borderless print is pretty tricky. It is not true broderless print because you can only have a "single color" in the border. It works, but you have to get creative with it. The way to do this is when you are customizing your print on Avery's website like at ( 5:00 ), you select the "background" color. I didn't do it in my video because my boarder is white. The Avery Print at home cards are great for emergency and/or immediate prints, like if you want to really impress your clients you can take a photo of your home (that they want to sell) and print it on your business card before you meet with them later that day. That will blow their minds, they will never forget you after that! 😀👍

Joker King it will, but a regular printer cost around 50-200. Save and Invest in a pro HP or Epson printer, its gonna save you time, ink and a clean sharp look. They have more settings and better features, my recommendation would be save and invest in (laser jet pro M426fdn) my boss has 8 of these and there always running, always printing.

Sorry to hear that! There should be "paper guides" on your printer, make sure you push the paper guides so that they are firmly in contact with the cardstock; this will help make sure your cardstock is fed straight. Good Luck!
