I'm no coach nor excellent golfer but I do have eyes lol, but from what I see VS what you're working on... Your "practice swings" or your "waggle" that you do during your setup you're still rolling your wrists and opening the club face every time but you said you're working on having the club face facing down (or closed) in your take away. It looks like you're still timing it up during your half swings sometimes good sometimes not (fade shots) that's just what I see from my naked eye. Love the videos keep practicing we're all just trying to get better each session. Good luck 👍🏽

Oh man, you nailed it! Shortly after this was shot, we took care of that and a few other things. While I was learning that, I lost my one-piece takeaway and was not rotating my rib cage at all, which caused my hips to also remain stagnant. Breaking that habit of rolling my wrists took 2 weeks of very focused quarter shots with over-dramatic loops and a follow-through that was also a bit extreme. I then finally conquered the forward shift while bringing the lead hip back. You can see a much better swing in my newer videos. The progress has really come around in the last 2 weeks. Currently, I am working on eliminating the wrist break style waggle to maintain the one-piece takeaway and keeping my head behind the ball at impact with a proper 'cutting the swing weight in half twice' finish. I love notes like this, you definitely have an excellent golfer eye! As a beginner learning golf so quickly, I can quickly get overwhelmed and forget the basics. Hopefully, you follow along and see the progression. Thanks for the note!
