Fan leaves are definitely worth making butter with, you just need a lot. So about à pound o fan leaves into 4 sticks of butter. Small buds from lollipop ping and the random male plant make it into the mix but the majority is fan leaf. Simmered in the butter with equal amount water for a few hrs then strained and separated gets about a cup of green butter. Keep a brown paper bag in the grow for scraps and make butter every couple months as it fills. Panic attack strength butter, lol
@brianmorris364 Жыл бұрын
I do exactly that. I double wash the butter and then use it for peanut butter squares Butter/powdered sugar/peanut butter melt, mix, put into pan in fridge.

I agree with Pigeons about sugar leaves. Always try a sugar leaf joint after the cure because sometimes there are crazy good terps in those leaves depending on the cultivar.

Have to say this Rob says he has arthritis from martial arts and typing but said nothin about rolling 30 blunts during the podcast lol ❤😂😂. That’s just on the podcast not counting what happens off camera. Im glad you guys are in a place to be able to enjoy this great gift from earth so freely! I can’t wait till Ohio catches up with the rest of the US and Canada. I don’t want it to be rushed though because once the laws are passed that sets the stepping stones for the direction it will go in the future. I think everyone of age should be able to grow a reasonable number of plants for personal use.

After harvest I crush the plant remains into mason jars, mix it thouroughly with brown sugar (2 thirds of the plant weight in sugar) weigh it down with a small stone and leave it for about a week with the lid ajar. The sugar draws the moisture out of the plant matter as well as anything beneficial on the leaves, stems etc and you will eventually be left with a thin syrup full of plant minerals, sugars etc. I use the syrup like molasses and give it from germination right the way through to harvest every feed/water. The plant matter left in the jars then gets thrown in the compost pile for the worms and microbes to finish off. 1:1000 (1ml per litre) seedling/foliar spray. 1:500 ( 2 ml per litre) watering pots.

Been a long time,but I had no papers and a lot of fan leave so I set them up one side of the the first half of a leaf then flipping the next over with the zigzag going the other direction and wait for it to be pliable,but not completely dry out; so yeah that's what I have done before and after thinking about it! I'm going to try it again just cuz I can it was fun to make too.

Rob, you need to try this yeti og I have. A mate crossed loompa’s headband X LHB X humboldt snow. The smell is a smell you smell once and you’ll never forget. I’ve been growing in Australia for a few years now and this is by far the best I’ve ever smoked. I grew it outdoor in my yard. The plant was huge, outdoor mendo dope style. Anyway it’s insane. I’ve been smoking another cultivar the past few days mixing it up, I just had two of them and it’s like nothing else. Love the vids though boys.

I microcompost all of my excess plant matter! Adding the equal weight of turbinado sugar to my plant matter stimulates the microbes on the plant surfaces to decompose the plant matter leaving a nutrient-dense/microbially active extract. I utilize full shoot and root systems for my ferments and extracts. The KNF/MNF methods are definitely the wave.

- defoliated and trimmed fan leaves i use as leaf litter cover for my 5 worm bins - bowl trimmer, perfectly clean trim with no contaminants from touching or dropping onto any surface except into the bowl; into freezer bags into the freezer. 1000% faster trim job, perfect trim job, _some_ destroyed trichomes but nothing to cry about, it's surface area, not complete area of the bud were debating over. Also wet trim, not dry trim, if you tumbled buds while dry then sure, i can understand the concern over loss but come on, if you grow a hefty amount you need something, and a conservative wet trim hand tumbled in a bowl where the blade never even touches the bud is good enough. 1000% time saver, no brainer, some of the comments on Amazon and KZbin say they would buy the bowl trimmer for $300 every year if they had to because it's so great, so whatever, stay ignorant if you must. - WPFF bubble hash when i have enough freezer bags built up and have time. - bubble hash rosin pressing - Sun Joe garden shredder for stems into mulch to add to my rotating compost bins.

Hey guys, first off, this is my first time learning and reaching out for knowledge. Also I love your podcast and all three of your guys channels. Better believe I subscribed. I’m curious as to how to properly manage PH in your soil to keep in range between “ 6.0 - 7.0 “, and if it’s to acidic or to alkaline how to balance it out with out flushing or destroying your plant? Or better yet how to overall manage it or monitor it? I have so many more questions but that’s good enough for me. Thank you guys.
