Any advanced tips for asgore or just the melee combat in general?

Hmm well don't really spam attack with Asgore, that mainly goes for all characters but Asgore is kind of like a slow punisher. Asgore has some pretty bad endlag and it can be very punishable. You kind of wanna play a little defensive Punish people when they are on low stamina with fire or trident attacks. You can usually drain the opponents stamina with fire and trident 4 Asgore is a pretty good punisher Use fire 4 when you get the chance to and make sure that you don't get hit while using it. You can best use it when you mute the opponent with Trident 1, but being far away and using fire 4 is also good I don't like using fire 2 unless the opponent has low stamina because you are very vulnerable when you use it And the melee combat. It's a little tricky to give any tips but just predict where the opponent will go so they can run into your melee But I think that's all the tips I can think of I hope this helps you !

Here is a few tricks that you can do: 1: If you are not planning to use any moves after finishing a combo with T1, than try to use T1 as late as possible. In that way, you'll get more value from the mute. 2: if you are planning to use F2 at the end of your combo, you need to teleport backwards just to make shure that your enemy won't be able to get close in time (you should do this even if you have muted them). 3: When ending a combo with F3, instead of using it immediately after last m1 you should wait a little bit. In this way, you will be able to hit one or two extra fireballs (Note: only do this after m1 and only if your enemy doesn't colide with the wall). 4: In second fase, instead of doing 3>6>m1, try doing 3>4m1>6>m1. It's may be risky, but if done well, gives you a decent increase in dmg (Not recommended for high ping). I know that those tricks do not make to much difference if used, but still may sometimes give you an extra advantage in battle

Asgore sucks ,braindead op, the burning damage is hella high, endlag is too short compared to the balanced asgore before buffed, the t1&2 hit box is stupid that u dash away it still lands on you I have 12k kills and main every character other than ssc, when I use asgore I only lose to gaster or asgore
