Hi again. I have one more question. I have noticed strange UTR behavior. UTR is recording movies but they are visible via mobile phone application after 1-2 days only . When I remove SD card from UTR and browse it via PC all movies are there. Do you have any idea why such delay is generated via moble app ?

My guess is that it's a memory limit on the App. It can only display a limited number of files - around 250 last time I looked. Larger SD cards can hold more than this and that gives it a problem.

@@immleman Well, I have fast 256 GB card, but you could be close to the problem. I had 32 GB card before and problem didn’t exist.

In live on the app I would have thought that I would be able to view a live feed from the cameras, apparently not that I can see, so what is the point if I can only use live if I'm in the car? I don't need when I'm in the car, I have my eyes am I missing something?

Yup. A pretty useless feature. If I remember correctly, the ignition has to be on to connect the UTR so, even if you happen to have WIFI in your garage, you still can't view the live feed remotely.

I’m sorry, I don’t know the answer to that question. I no longer have an Audio or UTR and there’s no mention in the user guide. Perhaps another viewer with a UTR can help.

How do I view the rear camera footage when putting the microSD card into my Mac. I can only see the front camera footage. Thanks.

You need to view it with VLC, which you can download for free, then start playing and then select the second video track.

The procedure is the same for both Version 1 and 2 UTRs. The only difference is the file format: .AVI for version 1, .MP4 for version 2: - Open a file with VLC, - Pause Playback - Select Video -> Video Track -> Track 2 - Press Play The rear feed should now appear.

Hi. Thanks for that video. Do you know how to switch off status messages generated by UTR ? They are really annoying.

I don't see a specific setting for the status messages but you can control the speaker volume including an "off" setting.

Hi, another very helpful video. I have version 1.0 front/rear. The fixing for the front camera looks the same as for the 2.0 is it possible to swap out the front cameras. Any technical issues? Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

I think there's a possibility that the front modules MIGHT be plug compatible but I couldn't swear to it. I've made several approaches to different parts of Audi for info on the new UTR and, so far, have been either fobbed off or ignored.

Hi, does anyone knows who is producing this UTR 2.0 Dash Cam for Audi? And what possible model of the original producer it represents? It is obvious that the UTR 2.0 Dash Cam is produced by third party. Thanks for advice

@@LA-rl1lu Three things really: the physical appearance, the spec of the version 1 UTR compared to the Blackvue and some of the terminology used in the user guides such as "event files".

I'm sorry but this is trash. I recently bought the Fitcamx dashcam for my Audi A7 and it is absolutely 100% better than this. It blends into the vehicle sooo well that my dealership that constantly used to unplug my old dashcam, couldn't even unplug it nor detect it. It records in 4k30fps. Look into it. Audi dealerships need to start purchasing it and installing it in there themselves for a markup fee.

I second this comment! please do NOT make the mistake of purchasing this with your Audi. It is such a waste of money and I regret buying it. The connection always drops when attempting to rewind events. It’s just overall horrible

@@nonamenoname4641 I’m definitely going to look into it!! The Audi UTR I currently have is absolutely hopeless. Can’t rewind footage for the life of me as it continually disconnects 😩

@@sabrinajacob882 what Audi model do you have? I have a 2019 A7. The installation the first time was scary and lengthy but I had to do it twice and the one I have now is amazing. Blends in so well. If only I could show you a picture.
