Tip for sewing silk. As long as you are going to wash it give it a heavy spray of spray starch before you cut and sew. Then it is like sewing paper.

That is a really nice market. You picked up some great items. When you passed by the Graffiti Fabric i was thinking ohhhh that's nice, so fun to see you purchased some.😊. That last piece with Pulp Fiction super cool Graffiti.

AAAH, I lived in Utrecht for 5 years and have never been to the fabric market. Probably because I didn't sew yet. I now live in Belgium, but regularly cross the border. I think I'll make a stopover in Utrecht on a Saturday morning.

Thank you that was fascinating!! Wow that is a lot of fabric. Is this market every weekend or once a month? That bin of remnants would be perfect for your patch work. Kilroy was here and the drawing originated in WWII from the GI’s stationed in Europe. They would draw this on buildings and such, like you said graffiti.
