FYI: cen10 and mater dei were scheduled to play the first game of this year but it was canceled. they did however scrimmage and cen10 was giving mater dei the business! expect a great game. 41-37 cen10. this will be the first time cen10 has play them at husky stadium since 2010.

UTR thank you so much for spoiling us HSFB fans with these banger games. A lot of us don't have cable and it's getting way more expensive (who wants to pay 12 months when we just want to see 3 months worth of HSFB) so much appreciated. The way these Fox and Ballysports TV Network companies are so comfortable bumping up the price and charging so much every year...off the backs of high school kids slamming into each other is so dirty and criminal. Cen10 dropping 63 on Mission was straight up scary. Those kids are hell bent on vengeance. You have to feel for Matt Logan and Cen10 tho, they've been 0-5 against SJB and MD since 2017 and four of those losses were blowouts with running clocks against their 3rd stringers. If that's bad enough, MD and SJB both taunted, joked and trash talked to Cen10 relentlessly but the Cen10 kids just quietly took it because it was a blowout with a running clock. These new gen Huskys gonna want some payback for their older brothers, this is a straight up movie lol.

I thought 2017 they coulda beat bosco if the 5* QB wasn't out or atleast a game like 2016. They gotta come out hungry like Norco did and pray MD isn't locked in on that read option worked really well against MV will def be brought up in film study, it's great experience 4 cen10 and I think they will compete but next year is their big shot apparently only a handful of guys graduating this year everyone else coming back

@@Goldengamer444 Idk because I saw Tanner Mckee play at full strength against a mediocre Serra team and their offense had trouble with them. They won 35-21 but I think SJB would have given Mckee a lot of trouble because they didn't have as many playmakers. The reason why you saw Cen10 "fall off" compared to their usual standards is because In 2017 -2020ish the founder of Winner's Circle had a lot of beef with the Cen10 program and Matt Logan. The guy was a douche and he lives in Corona so he took a lot of talented kids out from Cen10 and tried to cut off the talent pool to Cen10. The beef is dead now and from here on out Cen10 will probably be back to their 2014-2017 days of almost beating IMf

@@Goldengamer444 Not gonna say his name but basically the dude trains HS, College and sometimes NFL players to enhance their performance. His services are wanted by a lot of talented HS kids but his ego is out of control and he pissed off a lot of Cen10 parents, coaches, Matt Logan, and the school. The dude wanted to get back at Cen10 so he drained a lot of talent from them and tried cutting off Cen10s talent pool but they all moved on now. Which is probably why you see Cen10 having their most talented class in ages

@@onelove9232 I dont think you can attribute the success of one trainer to the success of an entire school. If you look at the Southern CA football as a whole, it's a culture of pushing kids to be their best that starts at the youth level, winner's if you may. Between multiple sports, position training camps, 7 on 7s, personal training camps and special team events, the SoCal youth/high school sports culture is at a different level. Case in point, some of the most successful national youth teams are from SoCal. Another point are underclassmen with multiple varsity letters. Finally, there are 4 teams from SoCal ranked in the nation's top 20. Bottom line, the old baseball saying "If you build it, they will come" applies. Success breeds success and a winning program will be a magnet to parent's looking for the best opportunity for their children.

Norco has been one of those perennial football powers in the greater LA area for many years. Some of their best players make it to Div. I. However, Mater Dei is just on a whole other level. Norco tested MD's defense early on and got a couple of scores, but there was no way Norco could handle the Monarch offense. I've watched IMG and they're beastly good, but I don't think they could handle the can of whoop-ass that is Mater Dei.

@@76turner1 I said the greater LA area. That encompasses, LA, Orange, Ventura, San Bernardino AND Riverside Counties. They all play in the same CIF divisions. Even Santa Barbara and Imperial Counties compete in the same CIF divisions as schools in LA County.

Long Beach Poly & Corona Centennial were still winning CIF-SS Division 1 Championships not to long ago. Only the last 7 years MD & SJB took over.
