I'm taking HRT patch and mireena coil, I've been bleeding and having periods with the coil, I did have a biopsy b4 the insertion of the coil , it's been nightmare, going for a scan and if it's all ok they said I can take the utragestran to ease the spotting and sleep anxiety which I suffer from.

I’m 3 days in using it vaginally . I am experiencing nausea and headaches . Shall I keep going? Will these feelings subside ? Thanks in advance

@@menodoctor Thank you so much for the reply. I honestly notice a difference in my sleep already. I only woke up once last night and only one fight with my pillow and adjusting bedding and temperature. This is an absolute miracle as I was waking up three and four times and the sleep was so much deeper last night. I hope I see a difference in other areas in time. will HRT also help with Libido? If not what does one do to help in that area.

Just started this with Estradot last night and had the best nights sleep ! Got lots of gas and stomach discomfort though which I think must be coming for this ? Hopefully this gets better over time . Thanks for the video !

@@menodoctor Thank you ! Actually, in retrospect , I think it may be the oestrogen which is causing the tummy ache as it started before I took my first Utrogestan tablet. Ill see how it goes but I must say I do feel more "me" even though it has only been a few days and had no achey joints this morning 😊 Yippee!!

I have a the hormone coil, I had been having troubles since insertion, (over 6 months)I also use estrogel 4pumps daily as well as they gave me vaginal pesarays ,I still don’t feel very great, I don’t have much support , gp’s dismiss a lot of what you say should I discuss what your saying with my doctor? Please help.

Hi i missed one day of ustrogen and i need to take for 14 days so should I take until day 15 to make it 14 days or should I skip and just take for 13 days instead?

Hi, fellow kiwi here. With the progesterone, if you have bled within 12 mths ( it’s been 5 mths) they say to take 2 pills for the second 14 days of the month. Is this correct? I don’t miss bleeding but I’m concerned how hormone imbalance can affect a woman’s body in a negative way. Thankyou and I hope you can answer my question for me ❤

It's fine to try taking continuous everyday utrogestan regime if you haven't had a period for 5 months... We would switch to cyclical (2 pills for 14 days per month) only if you started to get irregular bleeding on the continuous everyday regime 🙂

Should be fine to take 1 pill every day continuously. But it would be good to see the doctor/GP who prescribed it, so they know what dose you are taking and can make sure it suits you ok :-) @@amandanz1973

Hello Can you tell me how to find out if one has womb cells after a hysterectomy??

Hi - it's only women with very severe endometriosis, who might still have some womb-type cells inside their pelvis despite having their womb removed (ie having a hysterectomy). This is because endometriosis involves womb cells occurring outside the womb - so removing the womb itself does not always get rid of all the endometriosis/womb cells. This is why surgeons often have to also remove other tissue surrounding the womb for women who have severe endometriosis. It can be tricky to know if all the endometriosis tissue was removed during hysterectomy - it depends on lots of factors, including the type of surgery the woman had, as well as how severe her endometriosis was to start with. This is why menopause care and HRT prescribing needs to be individualised - because we are all so unique!
