I'm in college and I use Spotify student premium plan of 59 rupees per month. Absolutely worth it for me tbh. About lossless audio quality, it's almost useless for me since I use TWS and lossless isn't supported over any TWS, not even apple airpods. So if you majorly use TWS and are thinking of shifting to apple because of lossless audio quality, it might not make a noticeable difference. If you use wired earphones then yes it'll make a difference, but not a huge difference.

Apple Music is far better than any music streaming app. Ek gaana 40-50 mb ka hai AM mein. But to spot the difference, you need to use high quality speakers or headphones/earbuds/airpods. No dolby atmos support on YM :( which is sad.

I ditched Spotify and took the sub of apple music and my JBL 5.1 SYSTEM sounds like divine. Driving with lossless streaming in my car is again so good. Streaming from iPhones on airpods is a different game all together. Still miss Spotify algo though. Only con/necessary evil is apple music's high data usage while that's okay if u r in wifi but will consume all ur mobile data if you're going out somewhere(non wifi loc').

Spotify has an amazing algorithm and provides excellent recommendations. While I wouldn't be surprised if Apple or other music apps surpass Spotify in quality, I doubt any will ever match Spotify's recommendation system. KZbin Music also seems to have a similar algorithm, but Spotify still stands out in this regard.

Although apple music does support lossless audio format ,it can be run at it's max quality only via a wired connection or if you have airpods pro 2 with a vision pro . Bluetooth headphones don't support true lossless audio format and for a normal music listener the difference in quality as compared to spotify and other streaming platforms is very slight(Not hating on apple just telling)

i used both apple music and youtube premium . I personally would prefer KZbin premium because of 2 reasons , 1st apple is charging 1188 yearly (99 per months) only for music where as KZbin is providing premium featured KZbin content along with music in 1200 yearly (100pm). 2nd thing, I agree that apple has lossless music quality though.. KZbin music also provide a good and balance sound quality. In short, I get good content coverage along with video premium and music in similar price of apple music.
