No doubt he was the best of his time, but 600years of perfecting one Nusrat sounds like a very great exaggeration, he was lucky enough to find the very first era of recorded music, people who attended his father and uncles live considered nusrat like we do rahat. Nusrat was more into innovation in music, rather than continuing the glorious past of Qawwali and its pure essence. He had the time and responsibility of introducing qawwali to the whole world which he fulfilled very nicely, but with his own innovation and identity, in my opinion qawali is a message which should be delivered as it is

Yes, being a Lifetime Fan of Nusrat sahab, I know the qawali, just by listening to the 03 secs of tune played in the Harmonium, the Qawali is "Tu rah nawardi -shauq hai", a famous ghazal by Dr Alama Iqbal.. Plz search " Tu Rah naward-i-shauq by Nfak " and Enjoy bro❤❤
