UTV TAKEOVER 2021 - Double Sammy action at Sand Hollow!

UTV Takeover was an absolute blast as usual. We had the opportunity to guide a few trails including one of our favorites, "Double Sammy": It was a lot of fun and included some solid action from those on the trail and the guys at ‪@SlikRokProductions‬ hitting a ridiculously challenging obstacle at the top of the trail.

Good video. Yea that xp900 with the ps issue i recorded him going up the chute. Had a hell of a time no flex in that suspension i think he needs to take some preload out of those front shocks. Looked to have no down travel.

What a awesome place to go riding! Those off-camber trails are scary. Looks like the black razor had way too much air pressure in his tires. Too bad about his steering going out, I had a 2018 XP-1000 4 seat and the same thing happened to me on a trail, steering went out, turns out a lot of rzr's have that problem. I replaced the fuse even though it was OK and it's solved the problem. I always kept some fuses with me when I went out in it.

That exact spot where that guy rolled is where another guy in a Polaris rzr rolled just in front of me a few days ago. Poor dude degloved his finger. I brought him back to get help. In case u wanna know how a defender 6x6 handles that trail, the second part of my video shows me going backwards from that point back. My next video will be when I finally found some folks to join me on it instead of going solo and finishing it. It's definitely the funnest offroad trail I've ever done.

So when the machine gets off camber, do you turn into the direction it's tipping, or just the opposite? thanks in advance.

The first thing to remember is your brakes are not always your best friend. Using a little momentum and turning into the direction before tapping the brakes is a good thing, it gets the car in a better angle right away. Every situation is different of course but that’s the just of it. -Garrett
