This exhaust is for 2018+ Ranger XP 1000 and will not fit your unit. Maybe check with a HMF dealer and see if they make one for your Ranger.

Hey guys was wondering if you had to put a programmer on with the exhaust

I installed the gilomen tune and clutch kit on mine before I installed the exhaust. Not sure if it is necessary though. I would check with HMF and see if it is necessary.

Yeah it's nice. I put a link in the description of the video that you can click on and will take you to his website. Also, you have to tune your ECU if you don't already have the gilomen tune and clutch kit.
