They got caught by surprise in 2006 and weren't really quite ready in 2007! BUt they DID give us Verka Seduchka that year... so it was a good sign for the future!

ESC Finland 2007 was a next level show back then at the time. It was the first time when as many led screens were on stage, first time ever led screens on the stage floor. Now the 2007 show ooks old-school compared to the production nowadays. Finland is technically pretty advanced and we wanted to show that then. Don't know how we could do any better than other countries now, who are also making top tier shows. I think it's not even important to try to be better than others. Just to throw a good show on your own style. 😊😊

I love this too. But... They should not allow autotune or background vocals from tape. Good example is Gunilla from Mello 2024 :D She did not sound terrible but just make it really live and you can hear the difference. Benjamin came popular in Finland because he got attention with his looks on Instagram. We hame some KZbinrs/ "influencers" who do music nowadays but they are not singers. They are entertainer. But maybe our world is going to that direction
