This might be a stupid question but do I need to buy some type of glasses to protect my eyes from the uv lamp?

You can if you want, but the light is facing downward and you shouldn’t be looking directly at the light during the process. I typically turn it on and I’m doing something else while it’s under the light. A couple things I do use for protection from the resin are gloves, and a mask. I have the link to the ones I use in the video description. I hope this helps! The uv light I use is similar to ones that are used in nail salons to cure nails. You can always google it and do what you feel is best for you and what you are comfortable with. Good luck on your jewelry making! I know you’ll make beautiful creations! ❤️

You can get dark glasses like sunglasses at harbor freight. They're specially made for using torches and UV lights. And they're expensive.

Check out the nylon backs. They're relatively clear, and hypoallergenic. You just can't hit it with your lighter. They're pretty great to work with, otherwise.

I’m not sure how much resin I put in each mold. I just eyeball it. The mold is so very tiny that it only takes a little bit.
