After seeing the response to what happened at Sandy Hook Elementary. Nothing is going to change. This reminds me of Marilyn Manson's old records that he put out in the 90s and early 2000s, and I'm not a fan of Manson as a person. I just like the music made at those times, and the one thing he is right about is that Americans love their guns and their god more than they love their own children.

You got it!! Jenk; you got it. Inaction - doing nothing is tantamount to saying this is good, this is acceptable, and this is how we want things to remain. It’s okay that mass shootings happen regularly. It’s okay that school children get blown away - it’s tragic and all but all we will do is have a moment of silence at the next big sporting event, offer prayers and condolences to the victims and their families and then go back to business as usual. ….until the next massacre. And then we do it all again. Groundhogs’ Day of the macabre.

Take all that anger you're feeling and dish it out to your Republican representative or Senator (or Manchen-Sinema!) daily. And do it unrelentingly. And please, do not be polite. We're past that.

I think those politicians need to be sued ever time this happens because it will happen again . Texas for sure it’s like the wild Wild West with barely any gun regulations.

The police did their job to the letter. As courts upheld again and again it’s not the police officers job to protect you. It’s their job to keep you in line. Even while your child being executed in front of you.
@lolbro69422 жыл бұрын
Then why do we need police? We don't need people to "keep us in line" we need people to PROTECT us which is literally what cops are supposed to do
@Hoffman-Creations2 жыл бұрын
@@lolbro6942 I don’t think we need cops at all that’s my point exactly I’m glad that people are finally starting to catch on. Would you like me to send you different Supreme Court rulings from different states and different federal courts tell you it’s not a cops job to risk their life for your safety? Because the idea that police are there to protect you is an old wives tale. Anytime that you’re talking about defending them they start holding your safety and your protection over your head but according to the courts that’s not their job. It’s been upheld as legal and not punishable, when the suspect only has a knife and the cop has been holding a door closed preventing victims from escaping in the New York subway.

I have to agree after living in a country in the middle east for 6 months. People said aren't you afraid? I could walk those streets myself at night and didn't have to worry about being shot, raped or mugged! Can I say the same here no! If I spoke a foreign language I would probably have left this country, you also get medical care in other countries, you also get upper level education. It's the people running some of these countries is the problem.
