OMG! I just experienced a 365 nm UV light with a black filter covering it. It feels extremely peculiar, as if nothing but a faint purple emanates from the source. However, on the wall, everything appears as a fluorescence bluish-white. The bluish-white is completely composed of photons that are re-emitted by the wall; the filter blocked almost all light except very tiny visible violet, which is overwhelmed by the fluorescence on the wall. The 365 nm light with a filter feels fantastic in complete darkness, even urine becomes fluorescent in a green color, reminiscent of the radioactive glow often seen in movies. I might use it to inspect hidden spots in hotels.

@@UVBlackLights Oh my goodness! When I expose my face to UV 365 light, I can discern numerous hidden acne spots due to the fluorescence of a bacterium known as Propionibacterium. Consequently, I observed my acne manifesting as red spots. However, it's important to note that shining this light on your face is not safe, as UV can be hazardous to the human eyes.

Comparison sounds great! I love the convoy s2+ you recommended! Not sure if this would be any better. One thing thats a bit annoying with the convoy is there is such a hot spot in the centre of the light beam, i wish it was more of an even spread. This uvbeast seems to potentially have that from what i can see in this video. Please let me know! Also have you tried the jaxman 6w?

Any idea why UVBeast 365 are all OOS? I'm a little leary of UVBeast as the 100led version I bought a long while back doesn't light up well (yes I didn't realize I wanted 365) AND it heats up and the batteries die VERY, VERY fast. Great you're getting lights sent to you w/ only 3XX subscribers/views Boggles the mind a bit - do you have connections with some lighting supplier?
@UVBlackLights4 жыл бұрын
They sold out pretty quick probably cause it’s a good purchase. I didn’t test the 100 LED, but i know those type of LEDs aren’t very good. What do you mean by batteries die fast, you can’t use them anymore or you have to recharge them quickly? No connections, I simply just asked them for an honest review for free. Who wouldn’t want free advertising?
@L0st-n0found4 жыл бұрын
@@UVBlackLights according to the uvbeast the one you reviewed lasts 2-4hrs / charge the 100 led lasts 12-16hrs / 6AA batteries... Mine had massive parasitic drain so if left untouched with full batteries or would be almost dead in a month. When putting in fresh set and using it would get hot in hand under sustained use and die (would dim and start flickering until it ran out after about 10-15min) I also purchased a goliath,i think it was, 100 and a 50 the 100 was slightly longer lasting than the uvbeast (maybe hr of use} though also had massive parasitic drain) think it had 3 or 4 AA batteries instead of 6 in beast and the goliath 50/51? Led one lasted much longer and was only noticeably dimmer for a very short time before the 100s started getting dim. The uvbeast broke after not too long followed by one of the goliath i still have one of the goliath somewhere. I came to your channel looking at the convoy uvbeast v3 and some others. I don't really want to order a convoy from ali or bangood or some random seller Looks like the LG w/ filter that can't be legally sold in us? Is the best thej the nichia.. People say some sellers sell the good patent infringing filters in us.. Though that's research I didn't do. I got impatient researching and ordered a alonefire sv003 and a sv004 ... No ideas if they will be good. I was also looking at a 4 pack of darkness Sk68.
@UVBlackLights4 жыл бұрын
@R H I'm not a big fan of regular batteries, but I tend to take out the batteries when not using for awhile. Sounds like you had defective and it was over powering the flashlight, once the temperature reaches to a certain point its done. My personal opinion, regular batteries aren't good enough for some of these high powered UV Flashlights. The Convoy S2+ is my oldest UV Flashlight and I have had 0 issues with it and it's my most used flashlight. I'm going to be using the UVBeast Mini more often to see how durable it is. Please let me know how you like the Alonefire. What do you use the UV Flashlights for? The SK68 might not be powerful enough for you. PS: Sorry for the late replies, KZbin isn't notifying me for some reason.
@L0st-n0found4 жыл бұрын
@@UVBlackLights I like regular batteries for so, e things... Ease of replacing to keep endless light for one. So far I've only received the sv004 which says it has the coveted LG uv and a filter... Battery is taken out to charge I used influded charger and after about 9 hrs still wasnt showing done. I've started testing on however full the battery is. On a non reactive background in darkness there is almost no visible light (akin to lowest "moonlight" mode I've seen on a regular white led) . It lights up everything I expected magnificently. Compared to the old uvbeast, Goliath and whatever single simple low power uv lights I had a million years ago - it's like one was looking at nothing and suddenly opened their eyes to a world of light. I will be curious to heat on extended use and how long it lasts before stepping down noticably. I haven't seen the nichia uv and haven't seen the convoy lg but I can't believe they could be any better. Distance I haven't tested yet except it lights up like a Christmas tree things 100feet away inside house. Will try outside later. I have primarily used them for checking rooms and glass. I plan on bringing a good one or two everywhere and at some point using for rocks and minerals, various outside, jewelry and glass. Whatever else. I also noticed that while not shinning at anything very close to me and not looking anywhere near the led - I seem to be having an issue with the light particularly in one eye (headache and some blurriness)
@UVBlackLights4 жыл бұрын
@@L0st-n0found Well, Nichia is #1 in the industry for producing UV LEDs. They also have the least visible light output. Sounds like you found something you like and will work for you. When the funds are available, I'll try and grab the Alonefire to check out. The old UV flashlights you had were I believe in the 395nm wavelength, so you'll get alot of visible light. You're getting headaches and blurriness when using it? Might want to get some UV protective glasses.

Hey bro, I bought a 365NM flashlight with a wood glass filter on Amazon, it's called lumenshooter it's a single cell unit (18650) 2600mah included with a decent USB charger it has three emitters, and it's very well built, it has 15 watts. 450 mw im confused isn't that almost half of a watt? Can you explain it to me a little more I'm trying to get a little knowledge on the subject you can be my teacher if you don't mind I love to learn I know a good bit about lasers and regular flashlights and just a little bit about UV flashlights I am new to the UV flashlight game years ago I had a chinky UV flashlight 400 nm it was a couple bucks I really want to get uvbeast Mini because it has the USB C charger built into it and I guess the reason why I got this alonefire is because I knew it was 10 watts I'm looking for the most powerful single LED UV flashlight
@UVBlackLights4 жыл бұрын
@@MAGA_Extremist 450 mW is basically the output of the UV. You can't really measure UV in wattage, as that's circuit wattage and not output wattage because it hides the fact that 100% wattage is never converted into pure UV. It's lost through heat, non-UV radiation, and also 365nm LEDs can only convert 20% of the input into UV. (385-390nm can convert about 80%).
@MAGA_Extremist4 жыл бұрын
@@UVBlackLights thank you for clarifying that. With that information I'm going to go research and shop for the most powerful 385 - 390 since the uv output is 60% more 365 I will keep in touch and let you know what I discover
