UV LEAK LIGHT THE GOOD THE BAD . UV BEAST 365 V3 With dark 365 nm UV filter

Most UV lights that are bought from your corner auto parts store or supply house are usually at the very bottom end of quality UV light.
Very difficult to find leaks to him sometimes impossible to find a leak using the cheap lights

Would u recommend 365nm or a 400nm if u had to only pick one? Gonna dye test my valve cover soon then dye test my AC next year. Idk anything bout dyes but this vid helped put me in a good direction

Valve covers on engine oil . That may be 400+ nm depends on the company manufacturer of the dye on the other hand AC most use 365nm But all the light blend over a little + or - the nm scale a little Get the UV Beast 365nm with filter. $85. Or if you only want a small tiny one Conroy about $23 to $35 hand sized They are the strongest I have found

@@coldfinger459sub0 Thank you. The UV Beast 365nm does not ship to my state, Hawaiʻi. Really want it tho. Wont be using it daily, 1-2 times a year perhaps so will consider the Convoy. And to clarify, Convoy, as in Convoy S2+ Black UV 365nm? Also, is there a particular dye you recommend for Oil/AC applications?

@@AK-IT yes I heard there is a problem shipping items that contain lithium batteries to Hawaii because of air freight danger. Yes the Conroy 365 Nana meter black light is the correct one As for UV dies the two that I use when is from TracerLine products The other one is called AC Extends I have talked about them and featured them in videos in the past.

@@coldfinger459sub0 Yup, I was surprised that Amazon shipped my Rechargeable AA Duracell batteries, must have been a different mode of transportation. And I saw the supper bright dye in your video once, is that the TracerLine or the AC Extends? That one was really visible.

@@AK-IT both UV dyes shine equally bright The UV light also plays a big part of that. You can have the best dye but have a bad UV light and it is not as bright You can also have the greatest UV light but a poor manufactures UV dye and it was still will not shine bright I have showed videos of both of these scenarios where the light was better than the die or the die was better than the light giving you unsatisfactory results. Where are you would have to be in a very dark garage out of the sunlight to be able to lightly see the UV dye. Compared to having a good light and a good UV dye you could be in the bright direct sun in Hawaii open up the hood and shine your UV light indirect sunlight and still be able to see it glow brightly. This is the best set up in combination the best of both worlds work hand-in-hand together

Yeah you should be very careful with the reflection of metal and shiny surfaces. Wear the UV protective glasses. For sure with that laser

Especially my laser, UV laser, if it even hits across your eyes for nanosecond, you will be instantly blind and damaged eye for no possibility of healing or Repair. It’s 3W

If you remove the filter from the 365nm v3’s would you tell difference between 365nm and the 390nm?

Maybe not but that depends on the actual LED diode that was used. If it was a 365 diode, there would be a difference . Because the strongest wavelength is in the 365 region and there’s a little light bleed over above and below, but just having a weaker level.. The whole purpose of the filter . is a 365 the pass-through stronger. Than the lower nanometer wavelength and upper nanometer wavelength.. They will still fluoresce in the lower and upper region . Because the filter is not 100% effective. But I’ll just be weaker for the upper and lower wavelength die particles that are used that were developed for a higher or lower wavelength On the other hand if the LED dial that was used was a 395 nm wavelength and they threw a filter on it to block off the 395 and allow it to shine brighter at the 365 then there would be no difference . .
