Now I see what you meant about the other light still yet to arrive being more powerful, I thought you bought a 3 emitter light from both sellers. About how much time elapses with a newly charged battery after turning on before it goes into thermal management mode and starts flashing?

First blink @ 9m 25s i counted on a fresh fully charged high quality LG 18650 3.7v 3500mAh 12.95Wh battery operating at room temp of 21.5c/70.7f, torch room temp, not used for hours. I think the blinking in the video is a mix of both low battery as it blinks also when battery is low and overheat protection, i as yet to know if it shuts down automatically, not sure i dare to push it that far, i may ask Raymond, check the FluorescentMineral Reddit, he left me a comment as i shared my vid there. I have not tried the cooler outdoor temps with light in hand blink test as yet, but i may do when it cools down. I do hope that is helpful, glad you raised the question, thanks! @@UKFMH ah very interesting info. thanks. 9 minutes is pretty reasonable at room temp I suppose. I am guessing that is also roughly the lifetime of the battery too since the power draw is so high?

Just did same test on same battery, blinked after 6mins this time, i'll let it cool down and do the same until the battery runs out, then we can see how long one battery last, i don't have a battery tester for this type of battery sadly. These batteries i use are the longest lasting on the uk market, LG make excellent lasting batteries., they are a true 3500 mAh, worth getting. I'll keep you posted

3rd test started blinking at 5mins.... Total roughly 20mins on the same battery so far

@Muonium, Full Test results: (5 min cool-down between each test) 1st test = 9min 25sec until blink 2nd test = 6mins until blink, cool down 3rd test = 5min until blink 4th test = 2min 50sec untill blink 5th test = 2min 50 sec untill blink 6th test = 1min 50 until blink Low Battery now i think. SO about 25 minuates of run time from 1 fully charge 3500mAh high quality battery. Tried and tested. Im happy with that, good one for the records. Also, i just fitted the Convoy C8 battery extension housing to it and now have two batteries installed double the battery life, nicel!
