Congratulations on your admission!!! - I graduated in 2021, so not a current student. - will definitely try to vlog if I visit campus - with regard to autonomous status, I'm not sure, haven't heard the news yet!!! - Yeah, there are a lot of things that I feel I could've done better 1. Cgpa is important (try to maintain good marks right from first semester) 2. Should've started coding early 3. Should've done more projects 4. Should've networked more There're many things, but these are the ones that top the list

Can u please if possible contact any of your juniors currently studying at uvce and get some sort of news regarding the fact that uvce has been declared autonomous on 16th dec 2021 (just rechecked) so this will come in effect from the batch joining in jan 2022 or the jan2022 joining batch will be under BU(Bangalore University)?................ Hi, in my opinion it's totally worth taking cs at UVCE. Most people join UVCE because of its amazing placements. With regards to teaching I think few teachers are really really good, in any case you can study on your own, if you have doubts you can always ask them. Also you'll have more free time to explore your passion, work on your skills. To excel in UVCE, my suggestions would be 1. Have really good cgpa 2. Try to build your skills, make more projects 3. Network more

Major language for communication here is English. Knowing kannada is an advantage because it becomes easy to communicate with the non teaching staff. But language shouldn't be a problem here. You can find may hindi speakers here!!!!!!

@@snmonika7183 see teaching cannot be compared to other private colleges u should study on your own.. U will get plenty of free time here.. Where other colleges take 9-4:30... Here timings changes.. 10-2 sometimes weekly twice lab and 1 practise class

Hi, you'll most probably get cse at UVCE in further rounds, with your rank you can try for colleges like MS Ramaiah, bmsce. Even if you get ISE in these colleges then go for it, ise and cse are almost same, if you're too concerned about cse then you can switch branch after 1st year

Its usually 11 to 2:30. There'll be labs twice a week, one in the morning and other in the evening.. Morning labs will be from 8:30 and evening labs from 2:45 to 5
