what's with the whole wrapping sample packs into fancy ui trend? these are samples. why would anyone want this and not just use one shots? doesn't make any sense to me.

@@3D_TUTS well you're not wrong. apparently cool visuals do sell. otherwise these "libraries" aka sample packs wouldn't exist.

It’s copy protection to be honest. This is a mapped and multi-sampled library so you can gain a lot by having wrapped in this way. Being able to randomize hits can give you that human feel missing from working with single hits in your daw timeline.

They aren't sample packs, Falcon is a very powerful and complicated instrument, these presets might use samples but they also use synthesis and effects combined. The 'fancy ui' is basically a simplified front end for Falcoln giving you a reduced set of controls and modulators for a certain 'pack' of sounds/instrument type. If you want to dig in further then you can get into the nuts and bolts of the sounds in Falcon itself instead of the nice ui front end.
