Thanks so mush for posting a highly worthy musical experience.

Joe Henderson played the sax like Bill Evans played the piano: serenely, no wild gyrations, devoting all his energies to creating the music.

Joe did not even know the tune, it's funny how he was reading his sheet to play the theme. Well, that did not prevent him to rip the music with his amazing solo.

Tyner could always make it sound like the piano had 176 keys, at least. Monster player! So missed.

By playing the theme, I've noticed that in this video thay are playing in the key of Ab major, but on some other video it's on G major.

I'd like to shoot the cameraman who kept cutting away during Freddie's amazing solo to shots of McCoy comping and Avery playing the bassline and thus missed the beginning of that ecstatic moment of his. When will these people learn how to film jazz musicians?
