God given.....seems to imply that he has not practiced his whole life, or not put in the work. This man, like all other greats has thousands of hours of practice. God gifted him with birth...little else. He has exactly what you have..... maybe only drive separates him from others.

I'm a horse trainer...many say I'm gifted. I in fact was forced as a child to be around and in fact work horses. I can now get on "start" most horses in under an hour. God did not teach me this. He gave me an opportunity to learn it. My father was not always nice..."God gave me him" but........any how, you must see the error in your thinking in just my short few words.
