Last Montgomery team. What he did there is amazing, considering what Stanford has accomplished since and before him. He took the Golden State job in August 2004. I didn't get it and it didnt work out very quickly. He never gets credit as one of the best coaches of the 64 team era or PAC-12 history

i believe this game only aired on the west coast on abc. fans in Philadelphia were thrilled to hear that Stanford lost this game as it made st.joe's number 1 team in the country at the time.
