UW-Milwaukee students hold Pro-Palestinian rally, set up encampment

A Pro-Palestinian rally at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee began Monday, as hundreds of people, mostly students, called for cutting university ties to Israel and peace in Gaza.
The protest, also held at UW-Madison, is among the first scheduled in Wisconsin since New York police arrested more than 100 pro-Palestinian demonstrators at Columbia University.
That set off a wave of protests at other colleges nationally. Many have pitted police and university administrators against protesters in arguments over free speech.
