UW53 Toolcat with a Muskox snowblower - Navigating lots of obstacles in a large driveway

Doing residential snow it doesn't matter the driveway size, there will always be obstacles to avoid. It's one of the reasons I like the toolcat vs a skid steer with the Muskox: Better visibility. Especially when backing up into the street.

What about gravel driveway does the blower throw the gravel how about a review of toolcat and blower plus how many hours before you trade in hope you come back to us next winter it was fun and educational thanks

You can tilt the muskox back and ride it on the big plastic wear edge on the bottom. If you do that is hardly throws any gravel. Uneven gravel is tricky. I'm hope to post a review in the next few weeks.

How does the Muskox compare to an inverted? I really want it to work because I can use a Toolcat/skidsteer all year, but it seems too slow to be as profitable as a tractor with an inverted blower.

Depends on the complexity of driveways. Muskox can do any type of driveway. Inverted blower cant (e.g. a drive you have to blow forward with). Assuming you just have driveways that inverted works with, then yes inverted is faster (~50% in my experience) and the whole rig is less expensive. So short answer, if you have all driveways that work with an inverted then I would recommend an inverted. Im running 3 inverted and 1 toolcat this season.

@@allupsnowblowing That's very helpful... and disappointing. There is not much work for a tractor outside of snowblowing in my area. I'm just not sure I can justify $80k+ for a machine that is only for snow.
