Both. Those titles are often interchangeable for many job descriptions. It really depends on the responsibilities of the role. But you will be equipped to apply for either.

Yes that’s correct. You will still need to gain some real-world experience before applying to jobs but the course will equip you with the correct skills.

How can I transition from being a baker to a UX designer

I would recommend learning research and design foundations, selecting an industry you are passionate about working in that has some overlap with your baking skills (this could be in food-tech, ordering platforms, hospitality) creating a portfolio with relevant case studies and then learning to reframe your transferable skills from your past experience of what you do now into what you ultimately what to be doing. Is it possible to transition From a VFX background to UI/UX???

Certainly. It’s possible to transition from any industry. While there are a few overlapping skills in VFX, there is a lot you’ll need to learn. One way to start is by paying attention to your VFX software interface. (I.E Maya or AE). The complexity of those digital products is a marvel. Notice how difficult it is for beginners to pick up, how many buttons there are, how many menus expand and little elements used to make changes. All of these make up UI/UX. Pay close attention to what frustrates you and what you think could be done better. Talk to other VFX designers about their frustrations. Then learn the other corse aspect of product design.
