The test routes and timings for the DVSA are very randomised so that they are all used equally the same amount through the day. Even if BK tells you the time and route it would be very unlikely that you would get the same route.

Hi , I thought you could enter into a yellow box junction if you are turning right. Please clarify! Thank you

Hi Millie's you are correct I am assuming you are talking about the junction Cowley Road turning right into Cowley Mill Road at 20:25 on the video. Yes if you are turning right you can enter the box, but do make sure that you will be able to clear the junction into Cowley Mill Road and there is not traffic backed up into Cowley Mill Road. The Highway Code states Rule 174 Box junctions. These have criss-cross yellow lines painted on the road (see ‘Road markings’). You MUST NOT enter the box until your exit road or lane is clear. However, you may enter the box and wait when you want to turn right, and are only stopped from doing so by oncoming traffic, or by other vehicles waiting to turn right. At signalled roundabouts you MUST NOT enter the box unless you can cross over it completely without stopping.

What’s the speed limit in the start ?

It’s actually a 30mph zone, obviously though you wouldn’t be driving at that speed around the industrial estate there. There are 5mph signs as you come past the post office entrance, these relate to the post office car park and loading bay.
