Mind you, it's all preference but Bigger boards are usually for vert skating. The smaller boards are for street skating which is 99% of what Uzi does. If you use a bigger board, it flips way slower on flat ground and makes it hard to do tricks. I definitely agree with him scooping it too much but that's because he doesn't usually do them down things so he's used to how hard you have to scoop on flat. He just needs to slow his scoop with his feet. Nothing to do with the board.

That's called physics. Go to school. Big boards are *generally* used for vert and massive drops to give you more stability and something bigger to land on. Small boards are *generally* used for street skating and tech for the ease of quick flips and control over the board on flat ground.

Uzis problem is that he's treating the trick as if it's on flat. His body is way too upright throughout the entire trick, and he's trying to catch the tre as if he's slamming it down onto flat. Hes jumping up too much. He needs to bring his knees to his chest, not jump as if he's on flat. Same goes with simple ollies down things. I struggled with ollies down things as much as uzi did with tres and I realized that was why. I was trying to Ollie down stuff as if it was the same motion as ollieing flat but it's not. You don't jump as high (unless of course you're trying to cover a long distance). Focus more on bringing the knees to the chest than just straight up jumping upwards. When tricking down things you should not have your body fully extended when you land. If you are then it's because you're treating it like flat. Notice Uzi kept asking "why?!". Well this is why. Had he started treating the drop like a drop instead of flat then he would have landed it 100x sooner. Instead, through trial and error he finally got a couple. And even the ones he got still didn't look good because he was still pretty upright throughout. TL;DR when tricking down things keep your body low, bringing your knees up towards your body instead of jumping your entire body upwards.

Uzi i think you need to move your front foot further up the board, (closer to the 1st two bolts).. from front foot middle I find i tend to travel ahead of the board faster than I want to.. if anything it's all in the pressure/scoop of the back foot but still front foot bolts ;)
