Over 100 league titles between them (Sevco banter aside) and it’s always an entertaining game.

Rangers gave no away tickets for the first Old Firm due to the FIFA covid rules at the time meaning we had to move fans around the stadium. Celtic however, gave no away tickets to Rangers despite the fact that the FIFA covid rules have since been scrapped. They could have given an allocation but chose not to out of petulance. I agree however that the away capacity should be increased again to boost the atmosphere but not the original 7000 as it takes away from home fans attending especially season ticket holders.

Like I didn't know that they were 2 cities - still regarded as a derby by many. Suggest you guys look outside the UK and see the bigger picture. There are plenty of big derbies in Africa (Cairo derby, Soweto derby, etc) And let's not go to Latin America - where passions between the likes of Flamengo and Vasco or River Plate and Boca Jnrs are pretty high.

It is mate, I understand the rivalry, but, very few games can rival the noise and intensity of this one. The feeling in the ground is unbelievable when you walk in, and never stops the entire game. Also, the build up to the game in the country, and in the media is constant.

@@neilmcilwrath5951 It was put to our CEO Micheal Nicholson at the last AGM that the vast majority of our fans were against the renewing of the trademark. This is exactly what he said in reply. He said the decision to renew was made due to the cost being low and so that Celtic could have control over how the 'Old Firm' brand is used. He said: "The cost of renewal was low and the purpose of renewal was not to hitch ourselves to a brand, but to enable us to control the benefits of it use, not for the purposes of using it." Not one official statement or social media post from Celtic have used the term old firm to describe any game between us and any club from Ibrox since 2012.

As much as I would love to see a Celtic victory I find it hard to believe that so many Celtic supporters are writing Rangers off. It's just me but I'm feeling quite uneasy about the outcome of this game I think Rangers are going to prevail ,, I certainly hope I'm wrong.
