Not many are pointing out the last scene where V is wearing a white shimmery top. This may symbolize him being free from darkness (vs V in menacing black jacket) nor passing life (vs V in red jacket/cardigan). It’s just himself in the end, glistening in paradise.

Thank you for the reaction my theory is that the black V in the end created those sculptures including the girl and tae( both of them have that mark in their neck) it means all of this was his imagination and he wanted company in the end black V came to end all of this 8:56 they're destroyed and you can see that the red jacket V was accepting his fate smiling I think the message is yo to be yourself just like freinds mv

So, the mv revolves around a sculptor's love for his own creation, but the plot twist here is he, himself, is not real (everything was his imagination and the “scary” parts was him realizing it) It’s based of the story of Pygmalion 🤗💜

You guys reacted to Park Hyo Shin a while back singing his hit song "Wildflower", so you should have recognized his voice when he came on. V & Hyo Shin are close friends in real life, they have done duets before, their voices blends so well together. This video is based on the mythical Greek story of the sclupture Pygmalion who sculpted a statue he fell in love with. Aphrodite the Goddess of love in the story turned her into a real person so Pygmalion could experience love in his life. The twist in the end is that V in the red jacket realized he was also a statue turned to life by the real sculptor (V in the black jacket) hence him crying in the end with the realization of that. V's music videos are always mysterious & cinematically beautiful, this showcased his acting chops again & I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes a big time movie star once his career with BTS is over.

V the sculptor created an image of himself, V the statue or the sculpture. V sculptor must be projecting his own desires to live be with someone in his V statue. Or he could be a loner, seeking to live/happiness but doesn’t know how. This desire breathed life to his creation. Thus, when the V statue came to life, he also desired to be with someone and created a female statue and breathed life to her. The V sculpture lived the life, ie, going around, feeling the wind, being awed by other lives (like the butterfly), dancing, partying, celebrating, loving a girl. But that will end as he faced his creator later and realized he was not real, thus the heartbreaking sadness and acceptance in V’s eyes in the last scene. This is when you see the girl disappearing and even his face in the mirror partly turning into stone. The sculptor V is bloodied. This may represent his own brokenness, or relate to the scene where he was angry and frustrated and took such anger on his scuplture of V thus scraping that part of his face under his eye, and breaking him. It can also be theorized that when sculptor V broke the V statue, this instead gave life to the statue while the sculptor sustained the brokenness or injuries, sort of opposite effect. Or these could all just be a part of the sculptor’s dreams. Teaser 1 represents the darkness in his life. Teaser 2 is his daydream of a happier life, although it will end like any other dream, and he will go back to reality. Also the dark jacket and heavy footsteps may represent the darkness in the sculptor’s life, while the red jacket and whitish colors may symbolize life and lightness. For me there are both biblical and mythological elements in the storyline.
