He sculpted a woman, embodying his softness, kindness, and innocence. This creation led him to a realization: it wasn't about the woman but about his own self. Ultimately, he found peace in his reality.! I remember RM saying in one of their BE-hind stories: "Kim Taehyung the man who rejects what's normal" and this really shows how unique he is.. My theory is the red tae is the sculpture has an x marked on him and so does the woman sculpture has a x mark and the dark real v came back towards the end i think the red tae and woman were just living within there imagination but it wasn’t reality. Can’t wait for the cinematic version cause this this mv was already cinematic it could of been a movie tbh Our true artist Kim Taehyung killing it again showing why he is in BTS and why he’s our unique jazz pop king cause there not many jazz pop artists out there there all mostly pop or rap but I love that he’s bring jazz pop back into the music industry it definitely needs something new and refreshing sounds in the kpop industry and within Hollywood industry itself tbh

u should def react to park hyoshin's songs like goodbye - he does generally hv a good eng pronounciation & as a hyoshin fan i get why some ppl didnt even notice when hyoshin sings for the first time cz on top of ppl not knowing how hyoshin sounds, i think the transition from tae to hyoshin was quite smooth too

V the sculptor created an image of himself, V the statue or the sculpture. V sculptor must be projecting his own desires to be with someone in his V statue. Or he could be a loner, seeking to live/happiness but doesn’t know how. This desire breathed life to his creation. Thus, when the V statue came to life, he also desired to be with someone and created a female statue and breathed life to her. The V sculpture lived the life, ie, going around, feeling the wind, being awed by other lives (like the butterfly), dancing, partying, celebrating, loving a girl. But that will end as he faced his creator later and realized he was not real, thus the heartbreaking sadness and acceptance in V’s eyes in the last scene. This is when you see the girl disappearing and even his face in the mirror partly turning into stone. The sculptor V is bloodied. This may represent his own brokenness, or relate to the scene where he was angry and frustrated and took such anger on his scuplture of V thus scraping that part of his face under his eye, and breaking him. It can also be theorized that when sculptor V broke the V statue, this instead gave life to the statue while the sculptor sustained the brokenness or injuries, sort of opposite effect. Or these could all just be a part of the sculptor’s dreams. Teaser 1 represents the darkness in his life. Teaser 2 is his daydream of a happier life, although it will end like any other dream, and he will go back to reality. There is both biblical and mythological elements in the storyline. This is what I think at least. Right or wrong, the MV is brilliant. It evokes many thoughts even after watching the MV, and has real depth. V’s acting is so effective. I can still feel sadness for his character seeing his expressions. V’s vocal harmony with PH is also superb and magical! V’s visual is unparalleled throughout the video. He really is Korea’s best talent and treasure!

Taehyung was a sculptor who lived alone and his art was so great that the sculptures had souls and he created people in this world who had a white essence. But when he was born, he saw a black essence in this whiteness that he had not created himself. At the end of the music video, he stood in front of Taehyung and Taehyung realized that he had created the creator of the blackness himself and that he was not the creator. The essence of both whiteness and blackness is a much bigger creation and that was why he cried at the end of the music video. He understood that whiteness and blackness only think that they create the world around them. But they were not just statues, that human and animal souls had been created inside them. This is what I took from the content of the music video.

Hey Sammy, when you give it another closer listen at minute 3:07 until 3:30 its not Tae who is singing there. That is Park Hyo Shin. There are very simliuar. But his voice is kind of "more clear".
