I think there are two morals in the MV. 1. Love yourself, choose yourself - Everything in the world ends at some point, be it relationship or friendship but the relationship that you have with yourself lasts forever. In the first part, he was sad but everyone else was happy and then in the next he was happy and everyone was sad. Only by loving yourself can you be happy and see the world around you happy as well. 💜💜 2. Take chances in life, Death is inevitable In the first part, when V dies, his facial expression is sad but in the 2nd part, he has a smile on his face. I think the meaning behind it is, Take chances, achieve your goals, death is inevitable so you might as well take risks and do things that you really want to do so that when you die, you die knowing that you had a good life and made tons of great memories. 💜💜

Thank you guys for waiting the 24 hours, unlike o a lot of reactors who didn’t. V’s dry humour is totally depicted in the mv, he did say it’s a witty song about the and of friendship and the beginning of something else. This mv really has the sense of humour V has, dry, sarcastic with undertones and the smirk at the end is so Tae, his ‘gotchya’ face. Lol. Loved it. But for me the best takeaway was the song, the vocal gymnastics and the sound choir at the end. I can’t wait to see this performed live especially with the soul choir that backed him in the song. It will be such a great live.

But afterhe get into the same situation he realized no one is perfect (see their fightings and imperfection side) and they have their own problems too which he didn't notice earlier. There are basically two theories for now. THEORY 1 : When V was single, everyone around him was happy and next thing when he had a partner, everyone was fighting/unhappy. V dies in both lives which indicates that people either single or in relationship cannot be happy until and unless they truly love themselves. THEORY 2 :- In first life, Tae was lonely and unhappy and he died being sad. He was unhappy till the end and was probably wondering why his life turned out like that. However, in the second part, he got to experience love and companionship so even if he still died, you can see that he was smiling laying in the pool of his blood. Even after he woke and saw his past self beside him in the bed, he smiled because he finally put an end to "friend" and experienced love. This shows love is beautiful. It has the power to make your life better so that you have no regrets whatsoever.

I think the beginning of the music video is like his life as an idol. Always seems like everyone else is in a relationship and he's not allowed and it's "killing" him. Then the middle part is he's finally in a relationship and it causes chaos all around him. Army and his company being upset and that's "killing" him. Then the third part I think is him just realizing that to get the HAPPY ENDING that he wants he's just going to have to LOVE HIMSELF. I think thats pretty sad. Army needs to do better and let them know we love them and want them to be happy and loved. And that will make us Happy. I know Alot of Army's feel the same way as I do. They deserve to be loved. Hope we get to see it one day. Thanks Tae for the little grin at the end so it didn't end too sad. 💜

I interpreted this video in a couple of ways. One is finding self-love, whether you're in a relationship or not. Also, i interpreted as with so many idols, news of them being in a relationship causes others around them to not be happy. It causes strive and agreements between many that use to get along but now don't because of their options. In the end, maybe learning to live with two sides of yourself, the public person and private person. Both the same, but that way you can be happy, others can be happy and you don't feel like you're dying inside.

One is to love yourself because throughout your life, the only person sure to always be on your side will be yourself, but although important it can be lonely. I love it when Taehyung intentionally tries to overshadow the timbre and then returns to a different key simply to play with the music, like a mischievous friend. When it comes to Taehyung's voice and and musical/singing ability I'm always extremely cautious because honestly you're not looking at a linear landscape. His artistry truly resembles the paintings and technique of Vincent Van Gogh...sequences repeated yet never the same, the realism of the dream, the transfiguration of the identity of each element. You see the reality but which one? The enigma of the artist who challenges you because he is challenging himself and the connection he feels towards his surroundings. Too often I read: "he is a genius", perhaps used for frivolous things. The fact is that THESE are the situations in which you really see and touch his genius. One more word. Thanks Taehyung for this "brush stroke" 🩷
