I love it when V kim Taehyung intentionally tries to overshadow the timbre and then returns to a different key simply to play with the music, like a mischievous friend. When it comes to Taehyung's voice and and musical/singing ability I'm always extremely cautious because honestly you're not looking at a linear landscape. His artistry truly resembles the paintings and technique of Vincent Van Gogh...sequences repeated yet never the same, the realism of the dream, the transfiguration of the identity of each element. You see the reality but which one? The enigma of the artist who challenges you because he is challenging himself and the connection he feels towards his surroundings. Too often I read: "he is a genius", perhaps used for frivolous things. The fact is that THESE are the situations in which you really see and touch his genius. One more word. Thanks Taehyung for this "brush stroke" 🩷

Thank you for waiting the 24 hours, unlike o a lot of reactors who didn’t. V’s dry humour is totally depicted in the mv, he did say it’s a witty song about the and of friendship and the beginning of something else. This mv really has the sense of humour V has, dry, sarcastic with dark undertones and the smirk at the end is so Tae, his ‘gotchya’ face. Lol. Loved it. But for me the best takeaway was the song, the vocal gymnastics and the sound choir at the end. I can’t wait to see this performed live especially with the soul choir that backed him in the song. It will be such a great live. I’m thinking that Tae is trolling us with the 2 death scenes. Of late, we’ve all been showing how frustrated we are that he keeps dying in kdrama’s, MV’s and. This mv is a ‘witty’ take on love and friends. Just saying.

@@Taiga-16 Army has a rule that everyone needs to focus on streaming the song for the group/members so that the song can chart well (support to the artist) and out of respect reactors use to follow this rule, but lately a lot of them are not, so you see the views on the reactors is taking views away from the release day.

I was laughing from the moment I clicked on this vid because of your t=shirt!!!! Love Tae's voice in this song!!! He is soooo good, and almost everything he does is understated, which makes it seem so easy, but it's NOT! Tae is one smooth man!!! Such a fresh concept for the mv.

Lol. I read a comment where it said that, "Tae was in a world with love but he had no one to love and then he wakes up in a world without love but he was in love with someone. At the end of the video, he wakes up with the one person he loves most which was himself. A testament to how BTS tells us to love ourselves." I love how Tae ends up talking to himself at the end because it's just right up his alley of humor. Taehyung and J-hope are so similar in that regard because they've both done a project where they just talk to themselves. I love it so much.

Yes, the song is phenomenal! Why does no one talk about brushing teeth in the tub? For some reason, that looks like fun. Also, Tae needs to quit backing up into streets. The best part is his grin at the end and, of course, the music. He is so expressive in looks and voice

Yeah, I can see him meeting with the concept team, them asking him if he has any thoughts, and then Tae smiling self depreciatingly at them as he plans out the whole mv in front of them. Then them staggering out the door wondering what the heck they have got themselves into as they face the arduous task ahead of them. His genius brain is a work of art. 💜🫡🐯🐻

Honestly think it's a social commentary about loving oneself and the fact that in both scenarios when he died, it was either people happy around him didn’t care about him, or he didn’t care about the angry people because he's happy. So like the ending for me was a euphemism for having an epiphany. 😅😅😅 Also his voice??? Hello??? The voacl gymnastics he did in this song, especially the adlibs in the end when he was belting out. Song of the year!! 🎉🎉🎉

Hi Shiki, so glad that you appreciate Tae’s vocals, other reactors have just concentrated on the mv and forgot to listen to this man’s wonderful voice and the depth and heights that he goes to and the harmonies with himself. , Like the mv shows, people are so wrapped up in their own emotions that they forget to see what is happening to others around them, or in this case hearing. Tae, as always, has done us proud with his hard word and dedication to ARMY, he has obviously been practicing his English because he performed complex lyrics and lines perfectly. I’m so grateful I found him in Hwarang, he has brought such happiness to my life. 💜🫡🐯🐻

Thanks Shiki! I loved your appreciation of the vocals! You were channeling me when I heard it and his ad-libs keke. My interpretation on the theme… perhaps both the lonely life and the ‘ideal life’ end up the same way… not real, a fantasy, with the same result he still dies. The first universe depicted the mood really well when you are lonely and feeling cynical, and the second the mood when you’re in a couple, the world outside doesn’t matter etc. The third time he awakes is reality, (with himself? , a twin? The second him subtly representing a male figure a symbol of a male lover?) which ever one, it’s when he’s happy. Basically be true to yourself and be your authentic self which is also importantly loving oneself. What ever it is the third ending is important because it’s a dream in a dream and then waking up, so it’s the message of the MV to take away. The teaser images and all the representation in the video also not only beautifully representative and inclusive but also so Tae: love is for everyone. The song lyrically is very self-explanatory as he explained it in the press releases and his little introductory snippets saying it’s a sweet warm confession song portraying wanting the friends period to be over to be something more… the start of a relationship. Loved it. Everyone please vote for Tae on Mcountdown pre-voting. Also congratulations Tae for being the biggest debut for a male artist in 2024 on spotifyglobalchart 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 P.s heteronormative and homobophobic people stay away from my comment.

i interpreted it like how when you're not in a relationship (or when you metaphorically lack something) you always view it idealistically and want it more. but even when you have it, the outcome can be the same (getting hit by the car). essentially it's a love yourself message. at the end of the day he had himself.

Your expressions are same as mine watching this MV 😂😂😂 My opinion about video storyline :- person is annoyed watching evryone in love when he is alone. Next part person doesn't care what happening around him when he is in love. Third part being in relationship or not destiny doesn't change. My pov on it In the first "universe"..Tae is alone and wishes for love...and then dies sadly In the second "universe"..he has a lover..and he dies happily Then he wakes up with both the first and second universe together.. The way I see it..first universe=Alone, no love for anyone not even yourself=sad death second universe=Has a lover..better than last one=happy death last one=love yourself, then love others=happier than ever

This song is amazing and mv is so captivating so, i watch it several times to understand but as always Tae had a puzzle for un😅😅 it looks like we have several possibility in our life but destiny is written before. Because at the end he really accepts what was happening. Two waitresses at second scenario represent inside army heart when they love V with his girl 🤣🤣🤣 About banana if I'm not wrong they play "perero" game.
