I bought the OG crossfade wireless in Jan 2016 and they are still holding up strong. I even brought them on an eight month trip backpacking around south east Asia without the case (was trying to cut down on space) and they held up great. My bag fell off my motorcycle a couple times, got pretty wet on a bunch of boats, fell asleep with them on often in hostels, etc.. These are built like a tank. Wearing them right now while watching this video over 6 years later.

Love it. Everyone is so caught up in having ''all the features'' when the basics are not being done right. Do they sound great? Are they comfortable? Are they built well? Are they supported for repairs? V-Moda ticks all these boxes.

People mad that this doesn't have ANC... VMODAS ARE THICK TANKY BOIS AND THE PASSIVE NOISE CANCELATION IS AMAZING! AS for the sound, the brand has always been marketed towards gamers and EDM enthusiasts hence the Bass Heavy sound sig. Vmoda tends to still have decent tuning that is punch and fun. People expecting something generic like Sony or Bose, or more balanced have no clue what Vmoda is all about sound wise. I've been using this brand since they launched nearly a decade ago and they are still one of my go-to brands

I agree. No need to change their design on the crossfade wireless series. Many people have custom shields that they would rather keep until the wheels fall off. They've already changed the XS/M-80 design to the magnetic shields i.e. S-80. I think they should just focus more on improving sound quality over cosmetics in my opinion.

EDIT 01.2024: I bought a pair and I'm happy to report that V-Moda changed the plastic. It is now like a dense rubber and feels more flexible. ORIGINAL COMMENT: I had a pair of Crossfade 2 Wireless. After six months of careful use, the black plastic covers on the edges of the headband cracked. Reading through customer reviews, it seems to be a well-known issue since long ago. Shocking that the company thinks it doesn't need to improve its design.

i bought the crossfade wireless 2 a bunch of years back, and when i got it you could see that the cables were defective and bent wierd because of the nylon they put around the wire and would over time weaken the inside of the cable. besides that they lasted a lil over 3 years of really ruf abuse lol i got stuck in rain a few times to while running and even then they, didn't break the build quality on these headphones are really good i would highly recommend, even when my original pair broke i had to buy another pair lol which is probably around 3 year's old now as well and still holding strong
