Jungle resort is 10km away from valparai town and situated near to Kurangumudi junction, you have to take a light offroad from Kurangumudi junction around 2km, this transportation is provided by the resort. This is actually a hime stay not a resort. They offer different packages family package Rs4500 for two adults and kids including food. For bachelors per head 2500 (minimum 4-5 people required).

Valaparai jungle resort or home stay is an ideal location those who looking for a peaceful stay close to the nature. They offer a night jeep safari for an extra 2000 rupeese, you can sight wild animals if you are lucky. Wild gaurs, leopard, bear, elephants are commonly sighted during this valparai jungle resort night safari.
Rooms here in the jungle resort Valaparai are just average and food is okay as per my opinion and the rate is little over priced but if you consider the location, it is totally worth. As i mentioned in the beginning if you are a nature or wildlife enthusiast just go for it blindly.

In 2019 November 30th and December 1st, we stayed in the same resort and room. I was happy seeing this episode, as it bought back memories from my trip. It is a good resort. @@DotGreen Then for a package with a night safari, we paid 2500/pax. I didn't notice much changes to the stay, and food was good. There are two roads to enter the estate. In one of them during the night safari we saw a huge herd of deer and bison. We trekked to the highest point within that estate, and for the first time, I saw tea plants planted in a circle (resembling a crop circle). It rained during the night, and weather was pleasant. We went to these viewpoints, the Nallamudi estate, the Koolangal river, and the Vellamalai tunnel. We went via Athirapally-Malakapara route. In one of Food N Travel vlogs by Ebbin Jose he had mentioned about കുയിൽ മീൻ we tasted that near the Sholayar dam. Overall it was a great trip, wasn't lucky enough to spot a leopard. I could go on and on, and I already typed so much. I will stop it here. ☺

Toilet is clean, room not bad but not that great (i mean considering the amount, it should hv been better) so if you look for room and amenities i wont suggest, but great location and ambience

Its nothing to show, anywhere on the road side, no dedicated parking.. They are saying it is safe.. I took the risk but it was okay..
