V-Ray Next for SketchUp - Adaptive Dome light for interior lighting

I rendered the same scene using two different approaches. first with defaut Environment, Sun and Portals; second with Adaptive Dome Light and Sunlight, using the same Camera Parameters. There's a huge difference in brightness between images. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
