V Rising Castle Tour - The Jet Stone Palace - Creative Mode - 1.0 Update

Good evening my fellow vampires. I'm finally back!
I took a little break from V Rising these past few months. I started playing Helldivers 2, and my god, that game is fun!
But of course, I couldn't miss the 1.0 release. And now, I've been having a blast with it for almost two weeks. It took me a bit of time to create this castle because I wanted to rediscover the game by playing it normally first. Stunlock really did an amazing job! The game has become even better, it's really crazy!
Anyway, here's my first 1.0 build, in creative mode. I hope you'll like it. Expect more builds in the coming weeks.

You've done it again! I love the sense of scale and of each room while not making feel bare. My favorite room is the storage room because of how you made it feel cluttered and ignored with all the excess furniture and supplies being put away. It gives history to the castle like you could find old secrets of the castles past. This is so impressive! Thank you for sharing!

Simply amazing. I'm in love with the front garden. The use of paths and the new flowers in between with the plague flower looks rly nice. I just discovered the existance of the Weeping Tree today. And seriously is my favorite tree instantly. It's so beautiful. Love the idea of the storage room with the "old" production lines in there. I found that absolutly genious. Well done! Thank you! I'm glad you liked the build! Yeah, when I discovered the new Mortium area and saw the trees, I tried to cut some to check if I'll get seeds. Fortunately I got some and knew I will use this tree in my build haha. They are so good. And I wanted to experiment a more organic garden. I think I'll try again this way, it's fun.

Sometimes its a bit hard to keep castles from feeling blocky and linear, but you always do a good job at making paths throughout the castle feel dynamic. Can't wait to see more builds from you! :)

Great to see you back to make more awesome castle designs for the 1.0 release man! This is one of my favorite old plots in the game. You killed it with this one for sure. I love how the storage room had nods to older gear like the basic grinder, blood press and tannery. Very nice touch. How far we've come from those old days :P Still game to take plot recommendations? Plot n71 in the Hallowed Mountains seems a fitting challenge for putting the new decor through its paces, what with its oblong design.

I love this concept of a more social castle rather than a reclusive one. This castle is build to acomodate guests of all kind be them vampires or humans. Have them invite them to dinner/tea, invite them to check the library and the gardens and check the jewlery room. *HOWEVER* always keeping the "shady stuff" in secret and out of their sigth. Like you don't wanna the normal human to look at massive floating blob of blood (castle heart) or a horrible mimic chest. They will inmediatly bolt off in fear. I also like thay you used the concept of garygoles correctly: They were ususally outside and in the roofs or entrances of mannors. Nice work indeed. 😊👍

Something I'd like to do is have multiple castles each with their own kinda theme such as a fort in the Farbane woods with simplistic wooden barricades lining the borders and a large brutal tower in the center surrounded by production facilities And I was also thinking of some kind of Slaanesh themed pleasure palace up in the snowy mountains with a massive gaudy dining hall connected to the prison and every servant gets their own overly decorated room

Absolutely brilliant. Cobwebs in the old storage, rats in the jail and making the Alch-lab hidden are such wonderful details. If you make another castle, I would suggest moving the leatherworking down to the general workshop area though. While it is very adjacent to tailoring in game, and in end product, *tanning* leather in the real world is a very foul smelling process. I would not want that anywhere near the silk. Would also love seeing your take on a larger garden :) * EDIT * : nevermind, you have a lot more videos, Imma watch some :P

I'll try to figure out something about that in my next builds. Thank you for your observation! 😁 Speaking about garden, my halloween build and the silverlight one are the two with my biggest gardens. It's not a mod, it's part of the basic game, you have to build invisible foundations. Look for it in the foundation menu.

It's part of a DLC, Haunted Nights Castle pack. It's a free DLC, but I don't know if it still available. Usually you can get this free DLC on Halloween period. Check if it's still available. If yes, you just have to add it to your collection and it will be activated.

In the basse cour there is no floor, I wanted the natural snow. It's true that you need a floor to make a stair. But you can erased the floor on the ground once your stair is placed.

Hmm, are you the admin of the server ? If yes, you can use the command CastleHeartEvent > Upgrade

It's a special prison door who act like a wall. Look for it in the prison door.

Castle heart is level 5. But this is castle build in a private game with more floord and tiles availables. If you play on an official server, you will not be able to replicate the full castle. If you play on a private game or private server, you need to set the floor height and tiles to their maximum.

There's no floor on those towers. It's invisible foundation. Towers are empty.

You have to paste my save folder where your saves are in your computer. For me it's this path → C:\Users\YOU\AppData\LocalLow\Stunlock Studios\VRising\CloudSaves\76561198007271270\v3 You paste the folder in the v3 folder, then when you load a game you should see my game. When you connect the first time, you have to create a new character, then when you are on, you need to be the admin. Open the console, type AdminAuth, then type CastleHeartEvent > Claim > Local > 77..... (you will have all this suggested) Now you should be the owner of my castle. And you can visit, do whatever you want. The others castle are just test, I tried to build the castle in the video in some others plots before chosing the good one.

The small squares represent one tile (1 x 1). The black lines are the walls and the two small vertical lines are doorways. So the horse stable for example is 5 tiles long x 4 tiles wide. Then you have the dividing walls along the right side for each stable. To the left of the workshop is a 90 degree stairway. The other stairs are also shown (90 degree or straight). The lines that are 45 degrees are unused (void).
