Dam, this game is actually pretty awesome. I was hesitant buying it at first, but now I'm pleasantly pleased with what I'm playing. I love how the shadow animation is smooth. Even a lot of big budget games don't get this part right.

I love this game. A tip for u base builders out there when u build ur base, use the second blood well to build an exterior defensive wall so the enemy has to exhaust both walls in order to even try to get ur things. On top of that use ur rat and grave spawns as natural defense posts before getting to ur servants. And if ur lucky u can trap a witch hunter in a section of ur base as another defensive buff. U can run past them and close doors, the enemy cant so this is to ur benefit

Dont take a horse to Silverlight hills. The riflemen in that area can aimbot you of a horse no matter how much you zig-zag. Much better to go wolf & have a shield skill like the unholy one. If you run into riflemen at a lower armor rank the shield not only protects you from the shots but the spawning skeletons will distract the enemies so you can dash out of there without taking major damage. Also the is a cave entrance in silverlight hills that exits you right down there in the south east beginner woods. You can try grabbing a local silverlight horse to exit of cause & try you luck. Base location is certainly a hot topic & at first i did feel incredible newbie when setting my castle right next to the south east woods portal. But it quickly made sense as it was easy to teleport up & grab a horse. And clearly made it easy to come back down from silverlight hills with loot too. In general knowing all the caves is extremely vital for traveling fast & to being back high blood captures. Not that it garantees bringing a capture back safely, as they can get stuck on thin air basicly. Seriously i had one getting stuck in the corner of my castles open door entrance :D Other people may suggest just rushing home on a horse trying to bring back a fresh capure. I like to do it slow instead (still on horse).The capure may have low health alreight but its importent to remember that the capture isnt bleeding out or anything so you can safely wait for nightfall & take the long safer way around dodging enemies etc. I general i find that sticking to the edge of the map, especially in Dunley & Woods you see barely any patroling enemies.

If you go far east forest, there's a cave passage that will let you out near your base too

there is another cave entrance on the right of the cursed forest which takes you to the cave exit to the left of ur base, ur in a good spot too

It's rare. I mostly find them in the bookshelf container

@@triston8278 yea I went through like 10 more times and found two. Sad. Then I guy told me to drop all my scourgestones or he’d kill me lmao. I would kill the spider so I could make my own ghost yarn, but I’m only lvl 59 and even getting to the spider was lengthy as a solo player. Tried her 3 times and just couldn’t.

tipp: use rat form in ancient villages to dodge the banshees. You can sneak in all houses and easy loot all containers and just get easy loot and fuck right away.

There are in fact two (2) Ancient villages, there is another to the East outside of your explored area.

I rarely get scourgestones from the villages in the forests. Maybe I am unlucky, but I if get them, it's only 1 or 2.

Where are the chests in the ghost yarn farms? I see 0 chests or cabinets when I come there. Just furniture that can be broken

I wasn't that impressed by silverlight docks, felt like I was mainly there for the fish oil. Some of the drops are nice like the reinforced planks and ingots, but their only made out of easily farmable materials. Fish are nice but still rare. I don't seem to have much use for gems yet, maybe later? And they drop in a lot of places anyway. Cursed forest by far has the most rare materials there.

Silverlight is almost easier in some ways and you get more stuff.

ive never seen a werewolf drop scales, when i kill them they always drop pristine leather

a question is there any pure magic build?or you must have a combination of both mele and magic?

Unfortunately, it seems like you can't focus 100% on just casting without waiting on cooldowns. There are some trinkets to help with cooldowns to cast spells more frequently though

If you have high percentage scholar blood type with the appropriate trinkets then magic can be your main sources of damage. Tier 4 perk on scholar has a 20% chance to refresh the cool down on the spells you cast. Some of the weapons complement spells well too. The slashers for instance have an on demand incapacitate which can be combod into big magic damage

The generals soul reaper is a melee weapon that boost your magic capacity bonus magic power and magic crit chance.

I love this game, but they overdid the repair cost and those mats near the ending - repairing items costs several Ghost yarns and other annoying to farm endgame materials. When your gear is broken you are basically useless and you can get in trap preety easily. They totally need to adjust the repairs near the end of the game, as everytime I move from my castle I'm annoyed that I will loose durabilty and will have to farm those mats again

love this game but i dont like the idea of not being able to teleport while carrying resources. I think certain resources should prevent you from teleporting (maybe something really difficult to get like scourgestone, spectral dust, ghost yarn, silk, etc.) but basic resources like ore/stone/wood/flowers/plants shouldn't prevent you from doing this.

@@rogersowden2369 if you're gear level 60 or something and you are farming for basic resources, it does not make the game engaging that you have to ride back on a horse for 7 minutes. it is just tedious. Like i said, the resources that are tough to get and when you lose them to another player shouldn't be, because they are not abundant. But if they are abundant and you happen to be farming for them far from home then it's a no brainer

I coincidentally have my base in the same spot your friend does so I can’t wait to try out that cave teleport. I had no idea things worked like that. Also, I’m stoked cause I just finally killed the vampire hunter , randomly grouping up w two other ppl (like vanilla wow days) and it’s such a game changer being able to make greater blood essences en mass now.
