Just some context for people who didn’t understand, Taehyung took KTX to a place outside of Seoul and he wanted to perform live for 20sec for each team. He will charge 1,000won (~USD$1). When Mr Bear went outside to get people, he kept saying 브이(beu-i). When they asked “is it BTS V?” he said it’s “not 뷔(V) but 브이(beu-i)”. Those who came really got the experience of their lifetime! And every person who actually saw him recognised him!! What a concept!!

This was a super fun reaction thank you. I agree with you that Tae wants to approach ARMY’s as human to human and actually see them and would be more comfortable in cosy settings, despite him belonging and suiting the worlds biggest stages. He is very genuinely curious about us. From watching Army KZbin and Army v-logs, to always communicating sincerely with us on weverse, and always knowing what’s going on on ARMY social media. He’s so very warm and endearing. Also I would have passed out from Tae’s beauty and prettiness. Also at first the guy in the mask was someone else but later towards the end at 12:32 Tae swapped with him… he mentions changing places with him in the subs but it went by pretty fast. It’s so cute that he earned £6.70 in total and his goal was to buy coffee bread. Which is the speciality in Gangneung. (Gangneung is about 2.5 hours away from Seoul by car/bus or an hour and a half each way on the KTX (high speed train)) It’s so sweet that Tae travelled so far because he wanted to reach ARMY’s/the public in places they don’t normally visit. Also if he wasn’t going to charge it would be even harder to convince people that it’s actually a rookie singer etc… they would be suspicious why it’s free keke. Thanks again for this reaction. I highly recommend the second part of Tae’s Spotipoly ep ‘v makes v poses and the world is good again.’ It’s soooo good. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Thanks for this explanations it makes more sense now…why he charged…how much he charged…(was 500 juan I think is what he charged) so like in total he made like 9 dollars US…. Exactly how far Gangneung was from where he was …DT you are funny…always more fun to get on line and watch with someone who enjoys BTS as much as we do and yes people were soo polite unlike I would have been…I also thought that what if the single lady at the end went home to her husband and told him that a guy in a bear costume persuaded her to pay 500 juan to go into a dark room and the most handsome man in the world V from BTS danced for her…yeah…right…😂

I just checked the foreign exchange rate, and he was charging 500 korean won per person to see him perform for 20 seconds... that's USD$0.37 each or about SGD$0.50 each, based on today's rate... so it wasn't a lot... and based on his revenue for the day, that means 22 lucky people who placed their trust in Mr Teddy Bear got to see V sing and/or dance live. The hardest part was probably getting them to come to the venue. But after this video came out, I'll bet some of those people who rejected Mr Teddy Bear are kicking themselves right now. After watching this, I now see why V is considered by the BTS members as one of the most down-to-earth people among them. Here we see him walking around like any other regular person would and going to the market to buy coffee bean bread with his earnings for the day. Just such regular things, and you can tell that these little things are what makes him happy.
